Here's how it started:Michael Gamble: Wild, rampant speculation. I love it.Mr Comic Book: @GambleMike we dont.. Michael Gamble: @comicbookguy_UK ...too bad :)That's what started the conversation in the OP.  Sorry, but what exactly did Mike Gamble expect to achieve here with his initial comment? It's flamebait and as expected someone took a bite. I'm not saying he shouldn't post, but did he really need to post THAT? I'm sure people who are happy with the EC can find his comment funny, but there's plenty of people that don't. Here's what followed:Mr Comic Book: @GambleMike next time u buy a book ill rip out the last 1/4 and sell u it as dlc.. See if u like it? With EA.. Im THAT cynical!Michael Gamble: @comicbookguy_UK wow. Do you have any ****ing clue how hard the team has been working over the past year to deliver NEW content ? Mr Comic Book: @GambleMike ive never said u guys dont work hard.. Ive bot (sic) EVERYTHING ever made with a ME label Mike Gamble: @comicbookguy_UK my point was that we didn't strip anything out of the game and resell as dlc.I love how Bioware throws us middle fingers or taunts like that and we are not supposed to be angry but smile and say "please may I have some more Master?"

We deserve it, you know because we're "Whiny" "Entitled" and "Stupid".

how is the first sentence not considered a jab at us all?

I consider it a jab at all of us who don't like the ending, something which Mike must know full well.

And for the record "speculation" is quickly becoming one of my most hated words.

I don't like 'speculation' much either.. but it's hard to infer the realities that are so far fetched in Sci Fi...in any event..so some is required. It would be better to have it all 'codexed' and ' lored' in..imo..

But...I don't like to wait tooooo long on a game to come out...or get totally lost in logistics..so I can tolorate some .. but to digress, this last installment requires a "lot".. probably too much..then the DLC to cover them gets a bad rap..imho

Oh.My.God.Shut the **** about the ****ing endings. Seriously. We get it. They are ****. They are horrible. They are the worse thing since Hitler. But they aren't going to be changed. Not again. Not after the EC (which set a huge precedence.)So get over it. It's been six months. If you are seriously still obessing over the ****ty endings for that long then you seriously need to get a ****ing life and move on. **** about the next videogame catastrophe.

I'll move on to a non catastrophe hopefully, Darksiders 2 was very good, Halo 4 looks awesome

Well you know after all the blatant lies pre-me3 you have to expect people to be skeptical.

blatant lies doesn't qualify as a factual statement..sorry

well, lies means the total untruth, that being impossible to argue...so it's not a good way to describe your intent..

We ALL (including the lowliest guys) sign an agreement upon hiring saying we will represent our company even off the clock AND not doing so is ground for termination......in light of that I really cannot take anything Allan says at face value

That doesn't make any sense. If Allan didn't want to say that stuff, he could still say nothing, couldn't he?

no what I mean is whatever he says is approved before he says so for the good of the company.....thus even if he really hated the ending he could NEVER say so in all honesty and to the whole extent of it

BioWare is even going more downhill than I thought...

Neither is the need to swear, but in this particular conversation it was Gamble that felt the need to resort to that. Comic Book guy was clearly venting his frustration after Gamble's initial two tweets but like he said, he never said anything about Bioware not working hard. I don't want to jump on the "we hate Bioware" bandwagon, because obviously they got a lot of hate that was uncalled for, but it's easy to claim Gamble can't talk to us without getting flooded with angry replies if this is the way he tries to communicate with the fans.

Casy Hudson 2 months prior to ME3's release - "This story arc is coming to an end with this game. That means the endings can be a lot more different. At this point we're taking into account so many decisions that you've made as a player and reflecting a lot of that stuff. It's not even in any way like the traditional game endings, where you can say how many endings there are or whether you got ending A, B, or C"

"As Mass Effect 3 is the end of a planned trilogy, the developers are not constrained by the necessity of allowing the story to diverge, yet also continue the story into the next chapter. This will result in a story that diverges into wildy different conclusions based on the player's actions in the first two chapters."

How are these NOT a lies?

There are many more examples and not just by Casey...but you get the point.

But the rachni are not required one way or the other. You can keep the rachni around (even the indoctrinated rachni queen) and you dont get any changes in the story whatsoever aside from an email.

Original Queen = email saying good stuff and 100 EMS
Indoctrinated Queen = email saying bad stuff and loss of EMS.

Or even get rid of the queen entirely.

So thats the huge consequence?

"Huge" has pretty clear connotations, and a numerical value isn't one of them in a visual medium. You aren't even trying at this point, are you?

I was trying to comment that other guy who said something about comicbookguy being entitled to trolling because mr gamble started it by insulting ("I like speculations" etc..). I just did not write clearly enough, as usual :)

well, if every tweet ends up in a pushing match..??? Why do fans expect to write games? Or, rerwrite games they don't like the endings to or their concept of the aforementioned? I don't like a science fiction book ending, then I write the author and tell them to 'remake/rethink' their version of my experenced events to their message involve in their story?

That isn't immersion, that's conversion?

Its a first world problem. Sorry, I have zero sympathy for people who think being entertained is important enough to rage over. The obnoxious behavior, the personal attacks and the cynical conspiracies and assumptions. They are all nonsense. Entertainment is a luxury, it is not a right.

You're belittling them without even trying to understand them. You keep harping on entertainment, but you're forgetting that these games got people emotionally involved. It encouraged it. It's like telling me telling you that you don't own your wife, so you're not allowed to feel angry she betrayed you. That's a first world problem, people are dying from hunger and you're obsessed about your wife sleeping with another man.

It is always possible to disregard that which we don't agree with because there are "more important things," like you're doing. The trick is not to.

I am huge a fan of The Transformers franchise and have been since they debuted in 1984. Now there are parts of that of that franchise that I don't like but I don't constantly go one fansites or company sites and whine about them. I don't blame Hasbro, IDW Comics, Marvel Comics, Shout! Factory, Paramount Pictures, High Moon Studios, Sunbow Productions, or any numer of publishers, animation companies, video games companies, or other company if they go in a direction that I don't like, I simply don't buy/watch/read/play the products that are part of the franchise that I didn't enjoy.

If people don't like Mass Effect 3 for any reason then they should stop playing it, buying and/or getting the DLC, stop buying the novels, comics, toys, and any other ME related media, stop posting here, and move on to another video game franchise.

Actually someone talked to Chris Priestley about the "vanishing weapons or changing weapons" issue in cutscenes.  He said that its not going to be fixed since it only breaks immersion.
