Alright, so the "fan" was being a whiny jerk, but Gamble probably shouldn't have used that language.

The whole situation is stupid.

trying to use Fable or Duke Nukem forever to say adding more time is bad, is a weak example

Did somebody actually use Duke Nukem Forever as an example? That'd be hilarious.

not yet, but somebody always does when we say ME3 needed more time

Losing your temper with your costumers isn't very professional. You're free to disagree with them, obviously, but "do you know how hard we worked on it?" isn't really a good response to a complaint about a product. Why should the costumer care how hard the team worked if the product is not up to the costumer's expectations? I think most people who work with costumers will get pissed off sometimes, but there are better ways to handle it than getting defensive about it. Firm but polite usually works.

yea well when your back is against the wall for 7 months with nut job fanboys/fangirls there is a breaking point

Doesn't matter, though. I can understand why he would be annoyed by it, but it's still not very professional behavior.

This is not one person who has been continuously bugging Mike for 7 months. This is just one person who raises a complaint about a product that other people have complained about before.
If you work as a store clerk you can't lose your temper with one costumer because there have been 10 costumers earlier that day who've made a complaint about the same product. If you work with producing video games to a large costumer base it's not professional to get pissed off at one of those costumers because there have been previous costumers who've had the same complaint.

Hey if Gamble still has a problem with the tweets, show him this. It ought to shut him up...

yep. just another way that bioware twisted the truth and used the previous games reputation to convince people that chioces would actually matter. this is why i dont feel bad for gamble or any of the other employees that are getting hate. They LIED! and they will not admit it. this is just blowback. There is choice and consequence in real life just not in biowares games.

I guess what I'm saying is, "what type of content do you think SHOULD be in the DLC?"

I am asking for story dlc for ME3 because i think we need more info on the game and i am prepared to pay for the dlc.

What i said above is contradictory to my beliefs but the mass effect game is a trilogy of games and we want a finish to the Shepard story so we can move on.

Stop taking twitter seriously. It's not a legitimate source of info. Frankly, they should include that in the ToS: "Nothing on Twitter is meant to be taken seriously."

Uncalled for from the fan but BW really should have the balls to face up to the consequences of what they've done, namely upset a lot of people, instead of lashing out at those upset with them.

How about a uk patient record system, which was in development recently, was delayed several years, ended up scrapped and cost something like 12 billion (pounds I guess). And no there is no mistake with comma in that number.

Adding more time does not guarantee better product.

I'm just interested in what the repercussions of Mike's actions will be. Whether or not he meant to, he has put forth a bad image as a representative of the company. People will argue that Twitter is personal, but so are Facebook accounts. Yet we've all heard of people having to change them in order to not cast a bad light upon the companies they work for.

Entertaining thread though, do continue...

Criticism is okay, since it can help the one being criticised out. This guy simply is a hater because the only thing he did was insult the ME team and knock them down. I guess I'm sensitive about this because I was bullied my entire childhood and teenage years and I can say nothing positive comes out of being bullied. Hence haters=bullies.

F+ck off, apologetic sympathizers, they deserve flak for evrrything they did.to mishandle this debacle. ”New content”... Gimme a friggin break, all this dlc was originally going to be in game and at best was being planned well before finishing stages.

thats true it doesn't but Bioware said there were things they wanted to add to the SP but couldn't because of time, and the MP definitly would have been bigger and better because it was tacked on with limited resources

To be fair, Bioware doesn't handle legit criticism well either, nor do they learn from it.

I've seen one person equate the endings with rape.
