...really? So creating slides was "hard work"? I guess we can file "hard work" with words like "listening", "clarity" and "closure" as words they don't know the actual meaning to.

Well, its not the first time Gamble's lied and I doubt it will be the last.

Don't forget "Art".

Unless "Art" is plagiarizing Deus Ex.

After the comment made so long ago "You'll want to hold onto your save game forever..." I'm still waiting for a reason. Give me one Mike, give me a reason to constantly play your game.

As for the anger and frustration Mike is expressing, It's the same anger and frustration that a great number of us have felt since the game came out. Now he knows how it feels...

So you weren't in the least bit interested in to find out what a Prothian looked like?, Javiks's backstory?, etc.

Where is that a plot-hole? And given that the Collectors were once Protheans, yeah I could pretty much figure out on my own how they would have looked like. Javik's backstory is sketchy at best and not at all relevant to ME3, he is just one person and says himself merely a warrior who didn't have that much knowledge of the bigger picture in his time, he didn'T even know about the crucible

The same goes with Leviathan, without the dlc would you know who created the catalyst?, why they created the catalyst, in their own words and from their viewpoint?, etc.

Sure I'd have liked to and I enjoyed having the chance to in the DLC. But again - how is that a plot-hole? It's like saying Prometheus is just a rip-off because we should have seen the origins of the Aliens in the original Alien movies... I'd have been fine without knowing how the Reapers came to be, that was one of the mysteries about them in the first place.

This is simply not good storytelling, fullstop.

Maybe not your interpretation of it, yes.

Yep, ppl like that guy are one of the reasons why the communication between Bioware and the fans has reached top bottom (sort of).

I don't blame BioWare, because it seems that everytime they get a messege or a question it's either trolling, flaming or simple insults.

In the long run, we the fans are suffering the most from it because the quality of communication is lowering to the point where BioWare won't be able to recgonise good feedback or what the fanbase truly likes and wants to see in the future.

So please, if you are dissatisfied with something, present it in tasetful way.

Gamble was the one that said:

“I honestly think the player base is going to be really happy with the way we’ve done it. You had a part in it. Every decision you’ve made will impact how things go. The player’s also the architect of what happens.”

“You’ll get answers to everything. That was one of the key things. Regardless of how we did everything, we had to say, yes, we’re going to provide some answers to these people.”

*TRIES TO CONTROL RAGE* What a ****ing joke -_-

They don't respond to good critical feedback.  They respond to this.

Because most now are no longer fans.

Yeah, I hear people saying they won't buy the next BioWare games because of EA.
I find them fun so I'll keep on buying them, sue me.

And they get paid and we pay. Some would argue that's another major difference.

When do people not put forth effort?  Are we supposed to be under the impression people are "phoning it in"?

Besides, isn't it the consumer who put forth the hard earned money to purchase a product entitled to judge said product if it is unsatisfactory?  Or, is it a matter of "shut up and take what I give you"?

I like Gamble but the tweet that was sent to him was not disrespectful. The tweet is relevant - whether the content was "ripped or not is not the issue", the issue is that plot elements were consciously not included in the game with the intent to sell it to the customer at a later stage. Bioware did this to themselves and I do not believe that no one there didn't see this coming. If I buy a game that is in episodic format then I do not expect all the plot elements to be included in one episode. If I buy a game then I expect that the most important plot elements will be included in the game. The origin of the antagonist is plot important. From Ashes is plot important...Imagine playing ME1 without Shep discovering the prothean beacon...You can still play the game but the story loses some of the context. DLC was cool in the beginning as it only expanded game play but now devs are expanding the plots - I wouldn't mind if it was minor plot points but really the antagonist's origin is not included on disc???

On the social media front - yes it is a personal account BUT you are still a representative of the company. I still like Gamble though but I think his response was a bit over the top. I work in customer care so i know how it feels to have people constantly judging, screaming, swearing etc but it is part of the job. If I were to swear while speaking to someone, and yes a customer has found me on facebook, it would still be seen as putting our company in disrepute. I was respectful and responded respectfully. Jessica does this a lot from her twitter account.

Have to agree with this. ME3 dlc so far is required for the main plotline and that for me is taking the dlc far too far.

Also whilst the twitter account is personal Gamble still represents the company and his utter lack of professionalism reflects on the company poorly. Especially considering the original tweet wasn't honestly that offensive but was raising an honest point. REGARDLESS of whether he agrees with it or thinks it's misinformed.

Also Mike to answer your question: No, I don't know how hard you've worked and no, I don't care. Why should I? All I care about the quality of the product it doesn't matter to me as a consumer whether it takes you one hour or one century.

What matters to the consumer is the quality and the value for money and thus far with ME3...yeah.

Then that's why mine and your interpretation of how a story should be told differs.

I like to know all off the facts. I don't like, or want to have to guess at how, and why this is happening in the story.

I play games as a hobby, their purpose is to keep me entertained in my spare time. I don't want to have to guess or use my imagination on what might be happening, that's the developers job. One in my opinion they haven't made a good job at doing, or else they would'nt have had such a backlash from the fans, and been made to release the EC endings.

bioware has been holding together pretty well, and I am sure there are divisions through out the company after the disaster

honestly how hard they work is kind of irrelevant, they were dishonest and people are rightly pissed about it, so anything beyond but being in a state of rationality and humility makes them look extremely bad
