OP on PC a lot of players try to play on Gold and are crap too!! Makes me not want to play gold anymore!!

Lately, I've had a hard time finding good pugs. I'm finding lots people who seem to have gotten lost or just graduated from silver. It usually takes me a few lobbies to find some decent players. I can hold my own on gold and so sometimes I need to carry and other times a find a good team that can hold their own as well. Ive noticed this more lately. Maybe it's time to graduate to platinum?

I never go above Gold unless I'm with at least one friend, you'll never know how bad someone can be.

And that was the point.. the more points I have the less points my teammates can get. Unless I'm "milking" objective waves (or whatever a-holes call it) my teammates will have a lower score in a game where I score 200K as opposed to a game where I score 100K.

So me saying that I don't see players max out around 20K points even in games where I reach 200K just goes to show that it is pretty damn rare for players to score that low.

Score means jack crap too. Played a game today where this dude just used 2 rockets and jumped 30k. If I prime a BE, I get the points and kill for tossing a measly reave or dark channel. Score is so skewed in this game, it's just weird.

I play for extraction. I get that. I get my money. I get fame and glory. I get the girl (slowest solo, vid coming and so did I)

It's all about the money and team work satisfaction.

With respect to the OP, I wouldn't go as far as 90%, but I'd say in the range of 20-40% of PUG players in Gold pull less than their weight. I actually find Silver players much better, on average--at least when measured against their performance in the lobbies they're searching for.

I don't think that 90% of players are useless, but I go into every game assuming that 100% of players are useless so in the very best case scenario I'm pleasantly surprised.

I'm so used to soloing waves, and carrying bad teams by now that I really don't even care anymore.

I've been playing on Xbox here and there, and I'm going to have to agree with OP. I don't have any good characters or weapons on that account, but I still end up carrying the team...somehow. You'd think that most people would know to stay out of "kill zones" when Prime Time begins (i.e. three primes with same line of sight). Off-topic, kudos to the noobs for being able to survive gold games with 2-3 medi-gel. I'd forgotten that I didn't have six on Xbox, and ended up getting the business from Cerberus phantoms.

I did see them on xbox on Gold for a while, but then Platinum came out.  Now they tend to gravitate to Platinum...and I report every single one I run across.

Not all that bad. Maybe 35% useless, 40% ok, and the rest good. I'm not the best player but can hold my on in gold and plat. Depending on my character, always in the top 2. For some reason I can never get #1 with my Shadow. She is more of a strategic build.

I'll say this - if you play gold and plat, have the correct equipment and use your gel and missles. I hate seeing someone using a shotgun but have sniper gear equipped. WTF! Take a minute with your build. Be a team player.

You should have put 90% of pug players in gold. alot of the good players dont pug anymore. I have had a terrible time finding a decent pug match the last 2 weeks and have ending up losing alot of my interest in the game. Basically if a friend or 2 isn't on gold has become nearly unplayable lately on xbox. Silver is just as bad. Way too many players that are just plain out of their league in lobbies right now.

 In my experiences the quality Gold PS3 players are also few and far between.  What I mean by quality is can handle an u/u/g match with most characters

The ps3 community is far and beyond the worse multiplayer community known to man. There have been countless times that I would have to revive the whole team 20 seconds into the first wave. I really need some decent teammates to role with, PSN is KonnecT.
