A lot of mid-range players with mid-range equipment have been bringing their mid-range characters into Silver.  This is unfair to lower level players who are scratching to make names for themselves and unfair to upper level players who are looking for some place to test out new builds and meet lower level people for erotic roleplay.  If you come to silver with your mid-range character, then you're going to play as hard as you can and that's going to throw off the results of the build tests and and decrease the amount of time that people have to socialize.

Remember that we have to slavishly follow the purpose of each individual tier.  It comes down to a simple sayign that this community needs to embrace:  There will be tiers, or there will be tears.  The choice is up to you, my friend.

Silver's fine to do at lvl 1 if you have decent weapons and don't die every 2 seconds. It should say "keep you're lvl 1s out of Gold." I've done Gold at lvl one and topped charts, and I'm not that good. N7 rating means nothing unless their rating is 16 and they are trying to do lvl 3 on platinum. Not going to happen.

Oh this is silly. XP/credits is added up from between the player scores, it makes no difference whether you have a team of equal players or one really good guy carrying everyone.

I've done fine in silver as a level 1 Drell Vanguard. You can't tell whether a player can handle it or not based on N7 level or even just weapon rank, so stop whining and just play the game.
