Everyone has a their own reason to use Missles and I'd like to see how all of you use yours. My Number 1 Rules is..

                                                           "When in Doubt, Whip it Out."

I saved MANY Games using this Rule and it hasn't failed me yet.

This. I got like 250 of 'em and everytime I finish a match and have some left I feel I've missed out on something.

Wave 10.
People getting downed surrounded of enemies.

I use mine when i GET Pissed off enough.

Everyone in the Squad knows its coming when they here Me Shout out.

"Ok... Thats it... FU*K THIS!"
and I let one fly off the chain.

Only when I believe it's essential to winning. Which includes. killing some enemies that threaten me on a device, getting overwhelmed on a hack/upload or reviving a team-mate. But never for extractions. I feel a missile isn't worth 10k exp.

Never assume anyone else has missiles.
Failed the last objective of a 1234 on gold yesterday because all 3 of the other people that had joined part way through didn't have any missiles... or Medi-Gel... Well one did but he blew up two nemesis on the other side of the map instead of the 6 phantoms crowding the objective....

Experience. You thank your lucky stars that someone has the sense to whip out their missile launcher to clear the hack objective or circle of enemies when reviving as the lone player to carry the match. Soon you will be doing this too.

Basics: clear objective areas (hack areas or boss enemies when in escort missions). Or when you see two atlases about to execute a team-mate.

The rest you'll learn along the way. Sometimes you will waste; other times you will save matches. It's all a learning curve.

No rules, one just knows when things are not looking good, there are certain maps on gold with certain hack waves, depending on the enemy they seem to either spawn or be headed to the hack zone, experience has shown me a rocket will ease the tension.

Bronze: To clear spawns in order to speed 8-9 up, or to save teammates from executions.
Silver: To facilitate objective waves or to save a teammate. Wave 11 if full extraction is looking iffy.
Gold: To facilitate objective waves. I'll save a teammate if the situation calls for it.
Platinum: Only if it's that or failure.

In general, I use my missiles when I'm the last one, or if not using them would result in me being the last one. That said, if things are going smoothly I'll use them just to make the wave easier. Once I get down to two rockets, I start planning on being the only one left.

If I can hit more than one boss, or just a REALLY large group of enemies, I will use one. Unless it's an objective and I don't have to.

I use rockets for nuke spawn killstreaks and for objectives when needed.
I'll use them on wave 11 if it means extraction.
I don't need the xp but I actually like finishing the game.

People who conserve them just to conserve them are dead to me.

It depends. On maps with brutal hacks (goddess, giant, etc) I tend to be fairly stingy. I typically only use on objective waves or to revive someone who is swarmed. Sometimes if soloing the last two banshees in a wave.

Bronze: Rarely a need. I don't think I've ever used one on Bronze.

Silver: Rarely a need. I've used maybe 2 or 3 on Silver, when I was just starting out.

Gold: Usually not needed except on objective waves or if others are falling quickly and I need to clear the field for reviving. I usually use 1 or 2 when playing Gold.

Platinum: I haven't played a lot of Platinum, but I usually go through my contingent of 5. Someone should always have a launcher out on objective waves. When Banshees start coming along in packs, missiles are often needed.
