Mass effect 2 was better game than ME3 was , it took everything we did and made it matter and it had great side quest and you ACTUALLY  felt like eveything you did ment something like ME3 was such dumbed down game **** ending aside ME3 was a really dumbed down game like I can't even call it an RPG.

No. Mass Effect was, followed by ME3. ME2 is just a lulz.

Doesn't take a lot to be better than Mass Effect 3, it had some good points but over all it was terrible.

ME2 is a bit iffy storywise I suppose. It didn't seem to matter much. But it's still my favorite and I LOVE the last mission. The crew was much better than in the other games... just lacked Javik.

I guess it was a good thing I started with ME3.. as i wouldn't have high expectations.
i missed the mako from ME1.

I agree that the crew and suicide mission were the best out of all 3 games but personally I think ME1 is the best. ME2 is a close second though

Agreed. At least I felt like I achieved something when I finished ME2. With ME3 it wasn't even worth the effort to finish.

My personal favourite is ME2 as well. However, all three games are awesome, including ME3. You can clearly see how much work and dedication Bioware put in the series. Well, except for the ending... but there was already said enough about that (still hope for the indoctrination theory to become true).

Mass effect 2 made you feel like you could kick the reapers arses but all then ME3' endings came.

ME3 and ME2 are on the same level to me, with ME1 falling in behind - tedious combat, plain characters that only gained depth in ME2 and 3, not to mention the always same looking side-quests and endless Mako-driving, which is why I can't bring myself to playing it for another time. The thing ME1 has going for it, is introducing the universe and Reaper threat.

Mass Effect 3 is awesome, but 2 is indeed my favorite.

I wish I had that feeling when I beat ME2. Because I only had that feeling when I beat ME, never had that feeling at the end of ME2 and ME3.

It's a better game from a quality of character / interaction and exploration point of view but it's still worse than ME1 in many respects. The writing is equally bad in places, and there are lots of weird choices around the structure of it all. And it still has scanning. I hate scanning.

Well duh, of course ME2 was better. Only a few WTF moments and breaks in logic ("Why are we all getting in a shuttle? I'm not going anywhere!' and "Why are the Council being morons? I thought they acknowledged the Reaper threat?"). However, the characters were top notch, the plot easily showed "This is how we will beat the Collectors and the Reapers after them" and left off with you feeling a badass.

ME2 also didn't decide to nullify most of ME1 and added lots of flavor to make your playthrough feel unique.

Not everyone liked ME2, I find it to be an overhyped piece of trash with very few redeaming aspects  and more problems then I could count on my hands.

ME2 was everything a 2nd game should be.
