Tuesday is going to be...

With Tuesday arguably marking the beginning of the last quarters biggest game releases, Mass Effect 3 needs to do something to keep players playing the mulitplayer. A patch would definitely go far to bring back the players that have been frustrated about numerous bugs in the multiplayer and from numerous posts from different employees from Bioware on the forums, the patch is going to be a big one.
The DLC is something that will allow the game to continue feeling fresh, especially if the rumors are true that a new faction is going to be added. For those who happen to have maxed manifests or the rares of the manifest maxed it also gives them something to put their credits into and not recieve premium spectre equipment packs.
What is your opinion? Does something need to happen on Tuesday or will annoucement sastisfy/appease you and make you come back next Tuesday for a new DLC/patch?

It'd be nice for something to be announced. But I'll be back regardless cause I am FREAKING ADDICTED TO THIS GAME.

Every online game I've ever played there's always been a bunch of forum lurkers that seem to spend their whole time telling everyone how crap the current game is and how 'everyone will leave' when their chosen glorificus game is release. ME3 seems to be BL2.

I can't wait for this moment. Never cared to play Borderlands, and never will. The more people rave about things the more I get turned off them.

We'll get balance changes, and if we're lucky information about an operation next weekend.
Meanwhile, I'll just continue saving credits.

Yep. I used to be hardcore EQ'er, and I lost count of the number of times we had to deal with the "omgz new game X will kill EQ!!!111oneonoeone" Dark Age of Camelot, World of Warcraft, Vanguard, if another MMORPG launched we were always hearing this same drivel. Last week EQ announced their 20th expansion due out later in the year. 13+ years later and the game's still turning enough profit for them to make new expansions.
There's always a new fad, and doomsayers are always going to say doom because of it. That's not the way it works though. People still play Dungeons and Dragons FFS. A new release can't kill an older game. It can diminish its playerbase a bit, but as long as the older game is entertaining its fanbase it's going to have a nice long life. The only people who can kill a game are the people developing it.
