Come Tuesday I won't have to put up with a BS money-grab scratch-off-lottery-ticket "store" and just get back to having fun with an array of weapons that are actually fun to play with.

Maybe later I'll come back to ME3 SP (especially if I can manage to dump Origin) but I don't see coming back to MP unless a friend asks me to play with them. I sure won't be worrying about gathering credits anymore... I haven't gotten anything I find useful in the last couple of weeks, MP had its chance.

Have fun grinding for credits to get lottery tickets that may or may not make your efforts worthwhile. Bit too much like real life, if you ask me... presuming you would play the lottery there.

Meanwhile, OH HEY never mind, I just checked and I can can start pre-loading now. All bandwidth reserved for downloading now, no sense wasting it on ME3 MP any more.

The thing is Borderlands had just as a random chance for you to get that OP weapon and if you didn't farm there was a very chance you might not see the best weapons.  You do get more options to start with weapons in Borderlands and you also get to pick choose what to sink money into so I do see both sides of the argument

I also am starting think (or make the assumption) the hate for the store is starting to come from all the people who choose to trivialize the game by selecting Geth on either Gold or Platinum and repeating constantly.

I really hope they release it sometime this month.
The lack of getting new DLC and unlocking new classes/weapons is making me drift away from this game.

This is the point.
I love the game, both SP and MP( see my manifest as a proof), but while I'm fine with waiting months for a good SP DLC, MP ones are essential to keep peolple playing, is two months since Earth, it's too much.

To be clear, I know that contents need time to be produced, I'm sure Bioware is doing its best and I know that complaining is not really right; but considering how ME3 multiplayer is built, it's not me the one to be blamed if it needs constant updates!

on topic: I don't think they will release the DLC so soon, neither the patch. Probably next week though

I'll be getting borderlands 2 when it's released.....but I'll still play me3 (perhaps not quite as much). Does everyone else here play only one game exclusively and never touch any others? That's how it seems judging by all the BL2 fanboy comments.

With Tuesday arguably marking the beginning of the last quarters biggest game releases, Mass Effect 3 needs to do something to keep players playing the mulitplayer.  A patch would definitely go far to bring back the players that have been frustrated about numerous bugs in the multiplayer and from numerous posts from different employees from Bioware on the forums, the patch is going to be a big one.  

The DLC is something that will allow the game to continue feeling fresh, especially if the rumors are true that a new faction is going to be added.  For those who happen to have maxed manifests or the rares of the manifest maxed it also gives them something to put their credits into and not recieve premium spectre equipment packs.

What is your opinion?  Does something need to happen on Tuesday or will annoucement sastisfy/appease you and make you come back next Tuesday for a new DLC/patch?

I maxed out my manifest a week ago, and still have loads of fun with various set-ups (going all in power damage or combos).

But a new faction is something i really look forward to (if it is true).

I only play one game at a time, my current xbox doesn't have a HD, so I don't have the space for multiple games and their inevitable DLCs and downloads.

If there was only 1 new game I was getting, I'd go back and forth between that and ME3, but that's not the case starting 2 weeks from now. Personally, if it's a shooter and offers a short SP game(I won't play MP with any shooters on Live), I'll beat it and pop it on ebay/craigslist and buy the next game. If it's a deeper SP experience, I'll keep it. ME 3 was the opposite of what I expected. Never did I plan on playing the MP so much and going thru the SP only twice. Here's my list of what I'm getting in the next 2 months which will show why I won't be returning...*Sorry, no Borderlands or Call of Duty here*....

Come Oct. 2nd, I'll probably give ME3 to a friend or relative. I will say this though, NEVER has a game drawn me in for such an extended period of time, expecially during the summer months, so kudos to Bioware for that achievement

I'll stick to just "Having fun with playing the game". Regardless of how good BL2 is, it's an FPS, not a cover-based shooter in the ME universe with biotics and tech powers wielded by a nice variety of alien characters. It is a different genre altogether, and while I'll possibly pick up BL2 at some point to give it a shot, I'll continue to enjoy ME3 MP, because it's the only MP game in the ME universe, and that makes it unique for me.
