Those of is whom say that BL2 will hurt multiplayer are coming from, at least I am, the point of view that when it(BL2) drops, it will draw a huge amount of players to it. Thus potentially pulling many ME3 players away. I know I will play it with my kids who are just dying with anticipation for BL2. I will however continue to play the weekend operations so I can max put my N7 promotional weapons. So please, don't bash those of us whom are worried that BL2 may hurt our multiplayer experience by pulling away much needed online players. Because after all, were we not told that the only way that new multiplayer dlc would be made would be on the condition that we keep playing. Meaning that if EA keeps making money they will keep making dlc.

I'll be happy when Bioware stops saying "this week/day will be busy". Hell, I really don't wanna hear any variation of that phrase ever again.

I'll be leaving for BL2, but I'll still be in the forums here, waiting on some concrete news and hoping for something serious to happen. I'm also going to mention BL2 once in a while just in case you're watching, even though I've never mentioned it before.

Also, regardless of how you feel about BL2 personally, it IS going to draw a drastic number of players away. Some will come back, some never will. Some will need a DLC push or something to draw them back. In any case, Bioware is about to see a huge dip in numbers.

I'll stick to just "Having fun with playing the game". Regardless of how good BL2 is, it's an FPS, not a cover-based shooter in the ME universe with biotics and tech powers wielded by a nice variety of alien characters. It is a different genre altogether, and while I'll possibly pick up BL2 at some point to give it a shot, I'll continue to enjoy ME3 MP, because it's the only MP game in the ME universe, and that makes it unique for me.

Well, you have an interesting definition of "fun," but to each his own. GrimDark SpaceMagic Console-crippled 3rd-person shooter just isn't entirely my thing. That doesn't even have co-op SP in addition to whatever MP it's going to get.

Are gamers really this desperate for an OK-level story, in any case? (A story they still ended up hating the end of, I might add.) "Good for a game" doesn't really equal "Good story in general."

Go try Pohl's Gateway series if you want a story that's actually good, it handled a lot of the concepts in ME far better than ME ever did. And that's just one example.

NERF THURSDAY DAMN IT! We don't need an extra day getting in the way of the weekend!

Monday needs a buff though. And the duration on Saturday needs to be longer. WAY LONGER.

Trust me, you didn't miss anything. I played Borderlands 1 because it was supposed to be AHMAZIN' and my then-boyfriend and I were trying to find games to play together and I despised every second of it. All grinding with nothing to grind for, all the weapons you could ever imagine and there was no point to any new weapon you ever got, huge open world exploration with nothing to explore to, one of the worst PC ports I have played in a long time (I don't play on console) and the closest it had to a caster class was a sniper with a hawk.

Yeah, I'm not bitter about the wasted hours of my life at all. [\\sarcasm]

I'll give BL2 a chance if I get a chance to play it on someone else's computer first. But I'm not spending my money on it any time soon.

More on topic, I'm not leaving ME3 any time soon. There aren't that many games where it's fairly predictable how long a match will take, which is very important to me as I'm in school. I can safely load up and play 3-4 silver matches in my early afternoon break. TF2's MvM is far less predictable and far longer a match time (and I'm currently dealing with a crash bug anyway), single player campaigns make me twitch if I don't stop at a logical place in the story which means I'm looking at hours of gaming at once (I'm not expecting to get to a SP video game at all until fall break, and ACIII is going to be my self-pity game for Thanksgiving). ME3MP fits very nicely into my current gaming limitations.

I dont think Borderlands 2 is going to be better than ME3 but its something new and people are tired of ME3 and need something new to play.  Anyone who saids Borderlands 2 is better hasnt played Borderlands 1, good game but can get just as tiring as ME3 .
