You need a total of at least 3100 EMS to get all endings.
You need 2800 EMS to get all ending options activated. You need 3100 to get the best variant of every ending (though anything over 2800 only helps Destroy).

The so-called best ending is an ending, so to get all endings you need 3100 EMS.
Notice how I didn't say you needed that to activate all choices, but way to mischaraterize things. The point I was addressing was what EMS you needed to get all endings and that's clearly what I said-not what EMS is needed to get make all choices available.

So are you saying we didn't just get A, B and C endings?

Ha, no of course not Jade. Just pointing out that the "bestest" ending is an ending and can't be gotten without that minimum 3100-you know. iedra2 took it to mean I was talking about making all choices (the vast array of disimilar options available in 3 flavors of ugh) being available.

This is true Iedra2, it still is the same ending overall.

OP, did you skip the planet scanning? You get about 900 EMS for assets acquired by planet scanning, within missions and otherwise, and missing all of them is likely to lock you out of Synthesis if you didn't play Leviathan or didn't make peace on Rannoch.
I would recommend to be more thorough in the war asset acquisition in your next playthrough. Many people might not like the Synthesis ending, but you should really judge for yourself. If you want to know what you're missing, look into the thread linked in my sig.
I have to say the Starbrat annoyed me .... I'm in the club that hates the starbrat.
On Rannoch I killed the Reaper and freed the Geth.....Tali was a bit pissed at this but tried to call the quarians off but that didn't work. That ended with her removing her mask and jumping off a cliff. I then find that I can't go back there to find the Quarian captain een though it's listed in my mission logs. I have gone around scanning as many planets as possible and have all the "lost and found" items.....
I had no idea the stupid EMS (hate you bioware) depends on ME 2 as I did that but only lost Mordin, but did everything in that game. I have seen the synthesis ending and all I can say is that it's not the end of the world for bad endings..... There have been worse game endings. So you get geeen eyes and become space jesus.... So on that I don't hate synthesis. I like cyborgs
I don't get it in that ending the reapers help to rebuild but wouldn't they be helping with Shepard controlling them too? I am really peed that I only got the two endings........ Maybe if I do a clean playthrough with no importing.......
My game has no "coalesced.ini" file so I can't fiddle with that either.
May i suggest us the same avastar start a new game will get some points the start get as much peragon as you can with a small bit of renegade and when you get to the quarnes part get the admiral first then the geth server then the reper thing . i found that it helps when you get to the quarens and geth part at the end of the battel with the reaper battle whatch whet you say it will give you an renegade and peragon oppetion when legon starts the upload let him upload ans talie will beg him to stop let him do it then the oppetion will give you the renagade / peragon opp. click the renegade opp. and will get both quarens and geth .. pm me if you have any more questions .

Hmm.....strange. Synthesis should activate at 2800 EMS. All in all (including Leviathan) you can get about 4000, with Leviathan contributing about 300 and the quarians 250-400. How was your EMS at the end?
BTW, having Admiral Koris alive is a requirement for peace, so you should have done that mission before attacking the Reaper base. The other requirements are Tali not exiled and alive, Legion alive, LMs for both done (ME2 loyalty flag doesn't matter).
Here's a short maximum TMS list (half this to get EMS with no MP active) to see what you might have missed:
(values are approximations, this is with all missions done)
Alien: 1400 (includes Leviathan's 400)
Alliance: 1700-1800, varies depending on the ME1 endgame decision, Leviathan resources may add 50 or so
Crucible: 850 (includes some resources from Leviathan, otherwise around 800)
Ex-Cerberus: 260
Turian: 650
Krogan: 740-870, varies with genophage decision and how you dealt with Maelon's cure in ME2
Asari: 600-700, varies depending on the ME1 endgame decision
Salarian: 70-350, varies depending on the ME1 endgame decision, whether you cured the genophage and if and how you saved the salarian councilor during the Citadel coup.
Geth: 515 or 815 depending on how you dealt with the Heretics in ME2
Quarians: 825 or 525 depending on how you dealt with the Heretics in ME2
And lastly, it is a good idea to do all open optional missions before embarking on the next priority mission. That way you won't miss things like Admiral Koris.
me1 i did let the consel die . did a play through in me2 that suxed .went back and let them live that was a lot better .

Also when the game starts it can't seem to connect to the EA serverss to bring up "galaxy at war" on the main menu. It's done that properly like 1 out of 5 plays.
Yeah why isn't that happening for me when the game starts?
EDIT: My figures
TMS 4822
EMS 2411
So that figure should be bumped up more.......then?

I don't have Leviathan either........
I just don't believe in having to pay for DLC when game prices are high enough already.....All the DLC should be included in that.

Yes, I was able to get somewhere around that without MP. I think there are a couple of things that have to be done in a certain order (like talking to the Elcor to get help) to get max EMS without MP. It's a little harder without playing the first 2 games but it can be done without them and without DLC. You also have to make the right decisions in disputes between people. For instance, you get assets if you don't allow the refugees to dock with the citadel-so you go against the refugee. And in another dispute, you don't want the Csec forces to be bogged down by worrying too much about petty crimes on the citadel.

Be a real man/woman, do it without MP.
Actually, I love the MP by itself but find it more rewarding to try and get the proper EMS without the galactic readiness modified. Almost makes you feel like your choices matter.
