I like running the Javelin on my GI. Or the Claymore. Just depends.

I personally run a sniper on all my classes in SP. I like to be strong at all ranges, and even casters can benefit from a sniper's scope to cast powers on far away enemies. I really like the Indra and the Valiant because they're strong and light. A good combo.

I guess it all depends on how you set it up.
With the right armor and weapons, i think it's the superior class in the game.
Just about everything gets oneshotted, except for Prime Geth, Banshee, Brute and Atlas, they tend to require 2-3 shots.

How have you found the Javelin? I've found I keep missing my shots even with the time dilation because the damn thing takes so long to shoot. The innate cover piercing and the x-ray vision scope of the gun is nice, but I feel I don't get enough bang for my buck on it compared to a BW or Valiant, as with those guns I can take out more targets in the same time.capn233 wrote...

I don't really like the time dilation for the sniper rifles. Black Widow is probably more effective in single player than the Javelin anyway.All-a-Mort wrote...

I am on PC, so control precision is a lot better than with a controller so it is possible to follow the target with the mouse while pressing the button to fire. Once you get used to the fire delay you can also try to fire where you think they will be (this is the main reason I don't like the time dilation, as it affects the timing relative to multiplayer).

Umm. I found precision aiming a lot harder.
I'm desperately trying to move the aim with the touchpad constantly swiping it just to get the recicule to move a few degrees. When the target moves I have to start all over again. That was in Mass Effect 1.
On Mass Effect 2 and 3, I found the analogue sticks much easier. But that's just me.

I think you would be the only person in the world trying to play this game with a touchpad. Most everyone on PC uses a mouse.Abraham_uk wrote...

The hardcore takes it one step further than analog sticks and use ****** mice.
