To be fair - it is not Casey Hudson. It is marketing department and those guys can stretch the borders of truth to infinity and beyond.

I still believe it's EA's fault. Bioware should have stayed independent with Microsoft as the publisher.

If I could turn the page
In time then I'd rearrange just a day or two
Close my, close my, close my eyes

But I couldn't find a way
So I'll settle for one day to believe in you
Tell me, tell me, tell me lies

Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you can't disguise
(You can't disguise, no you can't disguise)
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies

Although I'm not making plans
I hope that you understand there's a reason why
Close your, close your, close your eyes

No more broken hearts
We're better off apart let's give it a try
Tell me, tell me, tell me lies

Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you can't disguise
(You can't disguise, no you can't disguise)
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies

If I could turn the page
In time then I'd rearrange just a day or two
Close my, close my, close my eyes

Oh, no, no you can't disguise
(You can't disguise, no you can't disguise)

Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you can't disguise
(You can't disguise, no you can't disguise)
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me, tell me lies)

Features:

A rich, branching storyline: Experience a sci-fi epic with multiple endings determined by your choices and actions throughout the game.
Massive in scope: Battle on many worlds across the galaxy as you unite the ultimate force to take back the Earth before it’s too late.

Amazon still selling it like its your story, still only £20 now!

Please... no one complained about this back then. "This is your story" actually means that we write the multi-branched storyline and you choose which branches you follow.

Some people here are just too literal. "This is your story" does not mean that you wrote the story and decided how it ended. You basically had a means of deciding which choice you are to make at a particular point in THEIR story, and nothing else. The way you play it is up to you, but the story is theirs. The consequences are the ones you chose. This is how ME has been from the start: we never had the chance to deviate from the initial storyline because BioWare has made us free to do whatever we want within the confines of the game. Nothing more. Nothing less.

This is true, but the impression they gave was that the major choices that are made in the game (as written by the Devs) would  take into account the choices made earlier. To a large extent this didn't happen or not in any meaningfull way.

Lets be honest as far as the endings are concerned the Geth / Quarian Confict and the Rachini has no affect. just two examples. this is what annoys.

Confines that got incredibly small in the final few minutes. So much so that the A, B, C ending that was explicitly stated as not going to exist actually came into being.

Casey Hudson is a two-faced liar and he ruined his own franchise.

Why? Maybe it was the George Lucas effect or maybe he was just tired of it?

Either way, getting Super Mac to direct the story was a sure way to set it all ablaze.

It's so easy to see where this all went wrong, and I just laugh at the ones defending the story and the game, when it's clear as day what happened.

You are free to enjoy what you like, hell I even think M. Bay's first Transformers movie is kinda cool, but you gotta know... You gotta know what you're looking at, right?

The combat looked better then than what we got for ME1... plus, "You learn to harness Dark Energy"? So Shepard destroyed Halstrom!

But hey, in this vid it said nothing about the Character Customisation of Mass Effect.

I only bought ME1 when I discoved the existence of the Mighty FemShep!

I was not really bothered by George Lucus like certain people were.  But I will say that Lucus needed to learn how to direct or get his friends to do it.  There was some awful dialogue in the newer Star Wars movies.  Anyways, I laugh as well that people sit there and defend the story.  It is quite clear that certain choices in the game didn't matter one way or the other which was weak.  I had fun with the game but stil not as much fun as ME1 and ME2.  But I could always go back and play the first two games. It is still hard for me to ever go back even with the EC and play the third one again.

Just noticed it said throughout the game, not throughout the series - I guess this really is the best place to start.

But it doesn't even do that... Unless you mean EMS, but then that's not your specific actions, it's just an arbitrary number that accumulates...
