Bronze is a joke. If you are over the age of 10 then you should be mature enough to handle Silver. Try Silver, it's double the credits and better XP and can be done in nearly the same amount of time.

This can't be for real. If you can't beat bronze properly this game isn't for you :/

Untrue. This was my first Online MP experience. When I first started, I was like OMFG this is so hard. ON BRONZE. With persistence and BSN, I am the adequate Gold player I am today.

Really!!! You should encouraging her as less and less people are doing things like this. I'm glad to somebody doing this. This IS the best way to teach new people and semi-new people to play or play better in bronze so that one day they'll be really good gold players.

Not that I want to jump on the "rain on your parade" bandwagon, but this really is not a good idea. If someone is inexperienced enough to need to be playing on bronze, they should actually be *playing* bronze, rather than farming it. What good are credits, xp, and weapons if you dont develop the actual skills you need to play the game? This isnt an MMO, it's a shooter. Farming of any kind is just counterproductive to building skill.

This is clearly a call out to people who are new to multiplayer and are too inexperienced for Silver. I handle Silver just fine, but there are alot of players who get kicked just because of their lower level. If you have a problem with poeple wanting to help, go whine to mommy.

The farming term is used correctly by the way, You can get around 200000 xp points per match if you play aggressivly and 15000 credits a match. After 8 matches you can get a premium spectre pack.

Thus...farming.

Why not just do "Follow the leader" type of games? Have the newbies follow you around and if you use a mic, talk to them about spawn locations and logic, crowd control, and the do's and don't's of a teamplay. I'm not sure if teaching the new players to farm first is the way to help them increase their skill.
You run the risk of breeding a number of players who will have the N7 rating that does not reflect their skill or experience with this game in any way.

EDIT: My bad, Took the word farming as FBW/G

Thumbs up for the OP. Everyone has to start somewhere and its good that he took the initiative
Through farming one can learn proper tactics and teamwork.

Elites or Elites who think they are elites who are against the idea can go elsewhere....
Elsewher being their UUG / UUP PUGs filled with people who are allergic to the 5,6,7,8  buttons.....

While I do see some point to this there is an advantage to farming. It teaches you that at times it's best to stay in one spot and let the bad guys come to you. It also gives them an idea of how the game works without cousing to much fuss to the other players.

I really doubt there are people in bronze lobbies who kick low N7 ranks. I will kick someone out of gold if their N7 is below 100, but in bronze? Doubtfull, I agree with HellishFiend, it is counterproductive to learning the game. Bronze was created as the easymode fest that it is so that inexperienced players should have the opportunity to make mistakes and learn from them and develop knowledge and skill of the game. This seems rather pointless.

I was a n7 of 33 on the banshee operation weekend and made through a gold match and a silver match to the end. It's more about how the players and teamwork is then it does rank.

It's not really "farming". What OP is doing is more like coaching, or teaching.

Good for you OP!

Right, just stop calling it "farming" and it's all good. Everyone has to start somewhere, might as well give them a helping hand.

I had a discussion with another forumite about how we used to wipe on bronze when the game started and eventually worked our way to gold and platinum. Good job OP!

Wow.

Wasn't whining. I'm actually in favor of what you're doing.

The problem is: not alot of new players know about or come to the BSN.

If the ending fiasco didn't happen, I would never have gotten on BSN.

I came here because of the face-import fiasco.

And despite being a seasoned gamer, I needed to play for some time in Bronze before being passable in Silver. Without friends & tips found via this forum, I would have needed a lot longer to learn.
