I'm very excited about DA3. I hope Bioware will concentrate on what makes their games stand out: story and characters. I also hope they won't get too much "inspiration" from games like Skyrim.
100% respect

Shouldn't it be the other way around? The only way this works is if the Chantry has to be involved in allowing the mages to be out of their influence, and I don't buy this at all.10. The chance to work with Justinia (if you're pro-mage) or assassinate her (if you're pro-Templar)

I hope they keep sarcastic dialogue options...those were very funny.

1. NO voiced protagonist
2. NO converstation circle
3. NO awesome button
4. NO player-changable day/night cycle - if Bio wants to add it then use "natural" d/n cycle (as in RDR, Morrowind, etc)
5. NO multiplayer. Absolutely no multiplayer, not even co-op. That draws to many resources
6. YES to ability to have ACTUAL conversation with player team whenever you want (as in Origins, no party banter)
7. tactical camera, at least for PC

2. Bring back origin stories
3. Tone down the combat, less super fast, jumping from enemy to enemy, anime combat
4. NO "AWESOME" BUTTON!
5. No dialogue wheel
6. No voiced Protagonist
7. For god's sake, use more than one city!

^THIS! I was a bit worried when they mentioned that. Honestly, I did play Skyrim a lot when I first got it, but I haven't for a while and may never finish it. I won't buy any DLC, either. Not that it wasn't entertaining in it's own way, but I like an actual plot and in-depth character development. BioWare does that, Bethesda does not. Please don't scarifice what you are awesome at to try to be something you're not.
And as for the fully voiced PC that others have mentioned here, I know there are pros and cons. If having an non-voiced PC means more flexibility of choices, and deeper conversations, then I don't know, maybe consider a return to non-voiced (just please animate expressions, the manequin look is a bit uncanny). Don't get me wrong, I DID enjoy Hawke being VAed, but if fully voiced is what narrowed the personality and limited the convo options due to, you know, having to write and pay for an actor, then...I dunno. I'm torn. But I trust that the DA devs HAVE been listening like they've claimed and can hopefully find a happy compromise.

1. No dumb marketing, no pre-order exclusives or promotionnal items, no partnership with Razor, no Day 1 DLC, no lies.

4. Please, make sure what I've done in DA:O and DA2 properly impact DA3 if there is a save import.
5. Don't be generic, be creative. Don't try to please the fans. Don't try to appeal to new audience. Just do a great RPG.
6. Mature content - and by that I don't mean boobs and blood. That applies to romances too. Romances in both DA2 and ME3 are disturbingly forced, badly written or badly realised.
7. Bugs. I'm sick of bugs in Bioware's latest games.
8. DA:O was like caviar. DA2 like fastfood. Please make DA3 like a nice picnic with family and friends on a sunny day in heaven (or hell).
9. Good music.
10. Improved gameplay.

If not, oh well, I just hope that the party for the Inquisitor (or w/e the team wants to call him/her) will have the same great party banter from DA2 with a bit more depth from DA:O.

DA3 may span multiple cities within Orlais. I don't expect Ferelden to feature in all its glory again; we'll have Orlais and a bunch of different locations to visit within, much like Ferelden back in DA:O.JerZeyCJ2 wrote...

- Good companions (I'm confident they will pull this off as it has always been BioWares strength.)
- A story that does not railroad you into choosing one side over the other.
- Get back to BG roots and create some areas of the game that the player can explore for no reason other than exploration. It was perfectly done in BG and BioWare has never gone back to that for some reason. It's the perfect mix between a story driven RPG and an open ended sandbox like exploring game.

1. Personal combat, meaning that I get to control my character and order my companions around, because I when I Roleplay, I focus on one character. But I bet they won't do this.
2. Good story with decissions that matter
3. More exploration and variation in quests + multiple ways to do them
YES!! <3

2. A second mabari warhound.
3. Varric Tethras.
4. Voiced protagonist.
5. Dialogue wheel from DA II with the same helpful icons that any normal human being should be able to recognize.
6. Similar combat system to DA II-- no agonizingly slow sideshuffling crabscuttling.
7. A third mabari warhound.
