OK I will say 5 major elements i want:
1.Tactical combat
2.Immersive story, companions and dialoge with decision and cocnequence and then mentioning it in dialouge like in DAO
3.80% DAO 10%DA2 10%NEW STUFF
4.No returning companions as companions, only as cameos, returning companions can be really messed up with a different protagonist,i wouldn't want my romance to have an opprotunity to cheat my warden or hawke?
5.Bioware take your time and make an awesome DA game
Can I add just one element to the list?
Create your own class.
Man I spend so much time coming up with new concepts for classes, if I could create my own class I would be so thrilled.
Skyrim ditched classes altogether. I like that, but I prefer creating my own class like Oblivion or Kingdoms of Amalur.
I would love to be a dual wielding wizard, with destructive and healing spells, along with some rogue abilities.

1) Don't turn it into some male lead only focused multi player, there are far too many of those as it is. We need more single player games, not less.
2) Allow for race choices this time, like in Origins, so that we can have the choice of human, elf and more with gender choice and improved character creation - not just facial creation but body modifications as well so that players can truly add their personal touch to their character.
3) Don't dumb it down, like Dragon Age 2 was, don't turn it into some rushed hack and slash that has a loose story, repetitive environments and none of the tactical angle that Origins had. Please have DA3 return to being a tactical based RPG that encourages the player to think and manage their character's skills and their team's skills well.
4) Don't focus on a male character only, bear in mind that there are a lot of female gamers who play your games as well, so don't dismiss them just because of outdated and backwards notions of who plays video games.
Have a balanced promotional showing of both female and male alike.
5) Improve the writing, don't go with the linear ending that DA2 had where your choices didn't make any difference at the end, the same with Mass Effect 3 where our choices over the entire series didn't make any difference at the end thanks to the very copy and paste rip off of another game. Have the player's choices make a difference this time, have the ending and final scenes of the game reflect what the player has done.
6) Don't overboard with promotional DLC, it can be nice to have a little something to start off with but so much of it is also junk and tends to just be stored or thrown away.
7) Make sure the game is working before releasing it, if you need to take a few years then take a few years, we can wait, but please do not release a broken game.
8) Don't go the sex appeal route, it's tacky and tiresome.
9) If there are romances intended for DA3, then don't go with stereotypes for any homosexual males and females, nor for bi-sexual males and females. Show maturity and open minds and don't use stereotypes, stereotypes are tacky and boring.
10) Don't screw up the game, please.

And if I can use mods without having a constant nagging fear that I'll end up being banned for it, that'd be great too.

Personally, i don't like it when at certain points of the story, you're drowned in quests, like at DAII's act beginnings. Some people call that "non-linearity", i call it annoying. Probably i'm in the minority here, but i wanted to mention it.

2. Interesting companions, no previous companions though please, but characters we have previously seen (Like Cullen) would be a welcome face. Dialogue similar to DA:O (Let us learn about our character and experience with them please), but also include things like the 'events' in DA2 with certain characters. Gifting system should return to a mixture of DAO and DA2.
3. Revelations as to what exactly happened to Maric, the Warden and Hawke and their connections with Flemmeth. Seriously, it's like every hero this lady meets ends up missing.
4. No 'ninja' combat. Combat SHOULD be a bit stocky while still be fluid and responsive. I HIGHLY doubt medieval style rogues moved with the same precision as Naruto Ninjas.
5. Multiple origins, or at least multiple species again. The Warden felt like my own character. Hawke didn't.
6. DA:O AND DA2 decisions SHOULD bite you in the ass or reward you well somehow. Seriously, what ever happened when we didn't kill Flemeth in DA;O, or let the Architect live in DA:A. Or didn't convince Merrill to destroy the mirror in DA2. Or didn't kill Anders.
7. Please don't have characters do a complete 69 with personalities WITHOUT A GOOD REASON. Anders went from funloving playboy to emo Twilight mage in less than a few months (In game time).
8. I cannot stress this enough. TAKE YOUR TIME MAKING A GAME YOU WILL BE 150% SATISFIED WITH. ME3 and DA2 both bombed because they were rushed. You will do more good for yourself putting more work in the long run than trying to rush this out.

2. Ability to choose race
3. Also want more noticable romances throughout the game, as in the opssite of;
LI "Are you alright, love?"
Canon ; stone face.
4. Choices that actually make a difference
5. Ability to talk to my companions when and where I want.
6. LOTS of banter please
7. Recieving gift from your love interrest (silly I know, but i missed it in DAII)
8. Want to meet the companions from the previous games.
9 oh yeah and please, please, please no copy paste this time?

Shouldn't it be the other way around? The only way this works is if the Chantry has to be involved in allowing the mages to be out of their influence, and I don't buy this at all.10. The chance to work with Justinia (if you're pro-mage) or assassinate her (if you're pro-Templar)
At the end of Asunder, as Grand Enchanter Fiona is calling for the Circle mages to make a decision between independence or a return to the Chantry, she tells the mages that Justinia is a friend and aided them all in their escape from Val Royeaux.
Meanwhile, Lambert plans to march on Andoral's Reach with the expectation that within a few days' time the Chantry will have gotten rid of Justinia and elected a new Divine who will allow the Templars much more power.

Race Selection
No Multiplayer
DA:O Item System
More Conversations
DA II Personality System (I love snarky Hawke)
Mana Clash
If you are a mage, the story should recognize this.
DA:O Darkspawn

~ Races? (Would most likely mean Hawke not being the MC.)
~ Choices that matter.
~ "Weighty" more realistic combat similar to Dark Souls and Dragon's Dogma but with a fantasy touch.
~ Lush environments.
~ Lots of armor, weapons, and items.
~ Voiced player character if possible.

Easy and short. Make it like the awesome game that was Dragon Age: Origins and not like the abomination (at least compared to DA:O) that was Dragon Age II. Don't abandon your roots.
And bring back the (optional) isometric Camera on PC !!

Not Loghain as companion, just wanna see him!
Would love a romanceable Carver/Beth with varying stories based on DA2

I actually expect to explore new places this time 'round. No recycled maps over and over again.
-And I'd like to be able to change my characters race and looks.
-Also dont have the Warden or Hawk in it I'm not sure I like my characters doing things that i wouldn't have chosen for them.
-More character development as well as better love interests than DO2

I'm very excited about DA3. I hope Bioware will concentrate on what makes their games stand out: story and characters. I also hope they won't get too much "inspiration" from games like Skyrim.
Well the melee combat was awful in Skyrim, Mount and Blade would be a better thing to look at in THAT matter. But I bet most players want the RTS combat to return.

2. The ability to spend time with the characters. Inter character development and dialogue are lovely things. You write good characters. Let us spend time with them.
3. The ability to make short term, middle term and long term meaningful choices.
4. As well as consequences, both foreseen and unforeseen, but all of which appear logical and consistent when viewed from hindsight.
5. A greater ability to customize appearance than in DAO and DA2
6. A broader choice of companions.
7. Cameos from old companions and npcs would be nice but I'd rather not reuse them as companions (exceptions: Sigrun, Ariane, Finn or a redwarfed Shale).
8. A lot fewer ninjas from the sky would be nice.
9. Foreshadowing the final conflicts. DAO did this very well. The ending for DA2 was less than stellar.
10. I like dwarves. I'd love to see female Qunari/kossith.
