I have bought the DA:O Collecter's edition - redeemed all the codes successfully, but nothing shows up in game to be downloaded... what is wrong with this **** thing?

Wait, maybe later it will show up in your download tab but do not start downloading, then if you are lucky, it will download but not install... God **** it!! I am afraid to say that but really: I have purchased many bioware game through the years, this is the LAST one!

Same here. People talking about some kind of patch but I haven't seen it do anything yet.

i was told to clear the download cache and it worked so i suggest trying that its in the configuration tool

I have the same issue, I redeemed both codes, but nothing happened. I'll try clearing the cache and see what happens.

Ok, I found that going back to the game logging out and then logging back in refreshes everything. The content was quietly downloading and installing itself fine. There was no way I was going to buy this game on console, but redeeming DLC on the Xbox360 for example is almost hassle free compared to this. Hope everyone else resolves their issues easily

ohh instal game....register game on website then try to redeem codes ..they all worked for me except the armor???

i entered my codes and downloaded. the content earlier in the day took a few hours for the stuff to install started a game player up to a point took a nice long nap, got up fired up my my game not my collectors edition, my stone prisoner and my wardens keep and memory band reads "unautorized" warns me when i got to load my game, and asks me to buy them on the dlc screen. this is beyond stupid. bought the digital ce edition on preorder through steam. i cannto reenter my codes did not say they were already used but full out invalid to boot.

so yea i am a tad annoyed at this whole thing, between EA general incompetence, and bw/EA deciding to throw up a beta site the day before a major game launch and hope all this registering stuff worked out is just inane. never mind all the **** keys.

Redeemed all 5 vodes earlier in the day which the site said was successful, yet could not register the game. Came home after work, and could register game but still have yet to get credit for any of the codes registered.

The only DLC I have instaled atm is the ring from getting the creator installed earlier in the week :/

Am afraid am hosed now and will not get the stuff I already tried to redeem

Redeemed all codes successfully 26 hours ago. Game is installed properly and works. The game is also successful registered on the site.



In game however nothing appears in my "downloadable content" tab. (Yes, I use the same account in game as here. Even some of my chars got updated on the site while playing)



I bought the Collector´s edition in the wooden box, which was shipped to East Asia btw. I saw that others could fix that problem by restarting, clearing cache, etc. All this doesn´t work for me. At least it didn´t in the last 26 hours and I tried it a lot.

My guess is that something with the "daupdater program /version 1.0.1.0 " is wrong or it maybe an outdated version of the updating program!?

I got the normal version, which came with a code to redeem Shale and his quests. I followed the instructions precisely as written on the card, but the card said to go to the web site BEFORE logging onto the game.... but it didn't mention that I wasn't supposed to enter the redeem code until AFTER I'd logged on in-game. Now I can't get Shale. I'm guessing there isn't, but is there any possible way to get it without buying it?

I got it to work by accident now!!!  What I did was opening the "daupdater" program manually. You find it in your "dragon age" folder under "bin_ship" and then just double click on it to open it.
 I started then the game with this program still open, and all off a sudden all downladable items appeared under "download progress".

I just have to click on them and they download now! Finally!

I think this should work with most people who don´t see anything appearing in game under "downloadable content".

JUST GOT MY DLC DOWNLOADED AND INSTALLED WOOHOO:

The good folks at Stardock Impulse just figured it out a few hrs ago, apparently the DAUpdaterService was not installed properly with the game. Basically here's a quick fix until a patch comes out - it uses Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to install the updaterservice.

First you have to get the the installutli.exe from the
C:\\\\Windows\\\\Microsoft.NET\\\\Framework\\\\v2.0.50727 directory and copy it into your dragon age \\\\ bin_ship folder. Then:

"Download this file to your dragon age\\\\\\\\bin_ship folder:

http://stardock.cach...mba/service.cmd"

and run the service.cmd
