Maybe that's not a bug?
It is a bug, I could do his war table mission in my first playthrough (I made a video with the promotion when the templars are conscripted), but couldnt to it in my second.
Maybe that's not a bug?
If that loot exploit fix is what I think it is, than no more schematic farming?
If so, there'd better be improved RNG systems in place. Or more shops selling schematics. What's the point of inquisition perks if they can't get you rare schematics easily?
/rantover.
Other than that, good patch. Might do another play-through after BE (or DLC) is released. Haven't done that final Solas companion quest yet.
The Black Emporium is not part of patch 5 for @dragonage. We are continuing to work on it based on the great beta feedback we received.
okay, now that it has auto attack DAI is officially god tier
In terms of word count, World of Thedas Vol. 2 is a little less than three times the length of Vol. 1 because we're insane.
Maybe I should be more conservative and say Vol. 2 has well over twice the words of Vol. 1. It's a monster is my point.
But what kind of monster? A Conscientiousness Demon?

So a bit of news: I have decided leave Dragon Age and move onto a new, upcoming BioWare project (which I can't discuss).
While it's hard to leave Dragon Age behind, 10 years is a long time to work on any one project. I decided it was time for something new.

I am happy, however, to leave Dragon Age in good hands: @PatrickWeekes will be Lead Writer once I'm gone. I can't think of anyone better.

Sad because he's created so many characters I love from DA, but I'm excited and hopeful about this new project and am sure he'll make it awesome.

Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes
I'm honored to be continuing the Dragon Age story that @davidgaider set in motion, and I look forward to adding a lot of sexy unicorns now.
It's Dragon Age. You know all the sexy unicorns will die, right?
They'd better!
What an honor it's been working with @davidgaider over the past years. And yet, he's already kicking ass on "new Bioware thing"
Thanks, Mike. It's been a pleasure. ![]()
And sincere congratulations to @PatrickWeekes who will be working with the storytelling team as the new DA writing lead.
Which is to say, I am a CD who has enjoyed an embarrassment of riches in so many co-workers.
Also, you have my promise that @PatrickWeekes will be confined to minimal apostophe usage, whilst on my watch.

K'ill'joy.
And vowels? How about sentences beginning with 'And' and 'But'?
Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes
If that is a battle you wish to really fight, other grammatical sacrifices will have to be made by you.
*deep sigh, followed by the sharpening of knives, er, I mean, red pencils*
@davidgaider @PatrickWeekes Exciting times for both of you! Looking forward to saying and showing more in the future.
The one benefit to leaving DA but still being at BioWare? @PatrickWeekes is within easy glaring distance.
Quite sad about this, considering David Gaider has been an amazing lead writer on an amazing series - but I can't wait to see what he does on this other, mysterious project. And I do love Patrick Weekes, so I'm extremely glad he is the new lead writer. Think it's a perfect fit.

. @davidgaider has been on the new project for a short time, and @Bio_Warner is already rambling about how awesome he is...
Sad that David Gaider won't be working on DA anymore but also glad that he'll still be at Bioware. Also cool that Patrick Weekes is taking over as lead writer, congrats to him.

@davidgaider Okay so I'm not gonna call them gnomes PER SE, but this new wacky steampunk race I'm thinking of adding only speaks in rhyme...
Wow, so Patrick is lead.... UUGH but I wanted Patrick to be lead on Mass Effect!! David made such good work for Dragon Age too... I guess this is fine though. Patrick has so much talent and I guess he's just trying to avoid working under Mac again lol.

YAAAAAAAAAAS

Hey. @KrisSchoneberg is on Twitter now and is cool and you should probably follow her if you're into @bioware and stuff.

So many kind comments from the DA fans. I would sniffle, but thankfully I'm well-stocked up on tears already. Thank you, all. ![]()
