In all seriousness, that rook looking image is also one of the figurines used on the map in DAI (and a physical map marker/figure you got with the collector's edition). I think they represented keeps, but possibly also Skyhold, in particular? And its odd, but that rook is severed at the base. There's a break right across the base of it. Maybe the wolf's (or "fox"?
) castle is broken and on fire? lol

Solas' final unromanced tarot is the Tower card, which in normal tarot, is a picture of a tower breaking apart:

@PatrickWeekes Serious question that's come up today: What's the plural of Solas?
Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes
Solas IS plural. One Sola, several Solas. He didn't want to correct anyone. You know how he hates having to explain stuff.

Re: Mark Darrah's fan-taunting tweet:
Solas is a masterful chess player, as illustrated by that chain of banters between him and the Iron Bull if you don't sacrifice the Chargers. They both refer to the rook as 'tower' during their chess match. Solas loses both towers to Bull, but isn't too concerned about it, as in the next banter he beats Bull against all odds. Maybe there's a hidden message in there, somewhere... ![]()

Why yes, yes they did just tease the next Dragon Age.

It's probably related to the strategic DA spinoff game they were teasing about, or rather asking if there was any interest for it.
Too early for DA4 teasing, WAAAAAAAAAAAYYY TOO EARLY.
The artstyle doesn't really remind me of DA either.

Er... so it's way too early for DA4 (despite it being nearly 1,5 year after the release of DAI) to have things created for them enough for us to be teased about, but it's not too early for a tactical game we know nothing about and Darrah casually mentioned about 2 months ago?
Also - I wouldn't judge any initial art as indicative of possible DA4 art style... though I'd like to point out that art style of DA has changed over the years.
