Power outage! #DAI is so awesome our power grid couldn't handle it.
DAI cancelled due to excessive awesomeness.
This is good. I think they need a drink.
Sorry to hear abt the "killing of the babies", though. That always sux. And from the sound of it, seems like it was something pretty good that we prolly woulda loved. ![]()
edit: and i mean that as offering my condolences to Dave and the crew abt whatever it is getting cut. seems like it meant alot to them.

Sometimes I really feel bad for the devs when EVERY word they say is picked apart and dissected so harshly.
Like in the beta for SWTOR every time a dev said anything there was a team of people who dissected it word by word. Even going so far as to try and say what he meant by words like "couple" "somewhat" "several"
Offices are strangely eerie and quiet without constant hum of computers.
guys they left Sheryl behind unguarded

@SherylChee GO HOME.
@PatrickWeekes I am! I had to go back for my coat after bar. Geez, dad.
my dastardly plans are foiled again

So clearly, what Sheryl is saying is the computers have been turned off because DAI has been cancelled. Offices, meaning where she works- and if it's quiet it means she's the only one there, everyone's already been given their walking papers. "Strangely" because it's strange that the office is empty during the week so early...eerie and quiet, because it's as though the place has been abandoned. Jepler's desk, looks like the Mary Celeste.
DAI Cancelled. Rumor confirmed.
Can we reach 1mil post? Would be nice if Bioware revealed an unconfirmed companion if you guys did reach 1mil post, I just check this so often for information.

I think we're all grown up enough to realize that Mr. Gaider is speaking in metaphors, but was I the only one who thought such a comment might, might presage some near-future article with the phrases "gruesome discovery" and "floorboards"?
("Party Monster" documentary, anyone?)
That, or he's hinting at the tragic quest where you're forced to choose between saving your loyal Mabari hound, or the Old God Baby.
Yep, my pet/s win every time.
I think Mike's just getting a bit frustrated that people seem to think Twitter is the best way to ask a million questions--like a hydra, answering a question only seems to spawn ten more. He's pretty patient overall, considering. More than I am.
I bet you're not allowed to disclosed any, if any cut features, but were any large features cut that were "confirmed" In game informer?

On the weekend my friend who had a baby recently asked whether I would save my dog from drowning first or her baby. Following a rather awkward silence she was very, very mad at me.
Do you hear that? *cups hand to ear*
That is the sound of thousands of fanboys and fangirls preparing to launch an Exalted March on Edmonton.
I've readied the flaming pitchforks of DOOM

Your dog can't swim?

Not to derail the thread, but I don't think they could cut anything exponentially large that had been already so heavily integrated into the game. My guess is that they are shaving pieces of dialogue, pieces of quests, and other bits and ends that don't fit well.

He said specifically that there had been features revealed to fans that had been cut.

People shouldn't ask questions they don't want to hear the answer to. Who asks someone something like that anyways?
Your dog can't swim?
No. He sort of floats if you hold him, but snuffs up a bunch of water, starts coughing, and sinking if you let him go. He's very smart in a lot of other ways though, I swear. ![]()

I know. But new parents can be annoying. ![]()
Anyway, sorry for going OT.
