Bioware Dev: -Says something that can be seen badly somehow-

Fandom:  :o   :crying:  <_<

Bioware Dev:  :?

Sometimes I really feel bad for the devs when EVERY word they say is picked apart and dissected so harshly.

Like in the beta for SWTOR every time a dev said anything there was a team of people who dissected it word by word. Even going so far as to try and say what he meant by words like "couple" "somewhat" "several"

God bless these devs for putting up with us lol

Also the baby nugs. (Cubs? Pups? Nuglets? Whatever they're called, I bet they're adorable.)

My money is on "nuggets."

That is, of course, also what you call food made from them.

Noooo, the poor Nugs.

Though now i'm wondering what a baby Nug is called, as it's kind of a cross between a pig (piglet) and a rabbit (kitten). Nuglet?

He said specifically that there had been features revealed to fans that had been cut.

Where did he say they were already revealed to fans?

How about ''nuggles'?

In the fever dreams of some fans.

What Gaider actually said was more along the lines of "if it needs to be cut, it's being cut whether or not there's info out about it."  Getting the game right, and out on time trump making sure that a feature they hinted at ages ago is still in, whether it's still needed or not.

Although, if they're looking for suggestions?  Jumping puzzles; cut those babies right out.  :)

He didn't outright confirm details, but he gave a example situation of something that actually occurs in development:

"You think we should cut this? We've already mentioned it to the fans. They'll be upset."

Well, I don't feel bad, it's only fair. If they want to avoid that, then they just don't say anything.

Oghren refers to his kid as 'the nugget' at one point, so that would make sense.

Clearly 'what are baby nugs called?' is the real pressing question that people should be asking the devs on Twitter. Maybe we can get a collective noun while were at it. A squeal of nugs? A delicious of nugs? We demand details!

(In case anyone is confused, that is a joke. Please don't hassle any devs on my account.)

Given that their nickname is "mudsplashers," I'm going to guess that a pack of nugs is called a "puddle." As in, a puddle of nugs. Seems appropriate.

But now I need to know. :(

I vote for "Nuglings" though and perhaps a snuffle of nugs. They look snuffey.

I still like Nuglets though :)

Not really, it's really really unfair on them if we expect that from them. I appreciate that the devs are dropping off these hints and teasers it's fun and sometimes can be a learning experience.

We should be careful on our assumptions lest we scare the devs into silence, we want to encourage them to tweet more not say "Well you said it, we assumed it was something else then what you intended; too bad for you" I might be reading a bit too much into your comment if so I apologise in advance.

Where did he say this? I need the full context because it seems like he is speaking in a hypothetical.

This isn't CSI:BSN anymore, it's more like Psych, with everyone played by Corbin bernson. Everyone, it may be time to step back and take the dev tweets at face value.

His posts are back on this page, and then about DLC on the next one.

Pretty sure you're right and he was mostly speaking hypothetically.

He just wants any reason at all to have Cullen be a party member instead of the GW. Swimming in the River DeNial. And no, he's not serious.

The theory makes literally no sense. If they did cut a companion it would be because they didn't have the resources for 9 companions.

having to remove a few lines of dialogue also constitutes a 'cut', I don't think there's as much at stake here as you all seem to act like there must be

I don't believe they could even cut a companion now, considering how integrated they all are into the game.
