Actually the horned figure looks unnaturally skinny at the waist, so I'm not sure it's even human. The torchbearer, if you look on high res, is bald and pointy eared.
Whelp I guess that means no nug on the cover
No female inquisitor either
Glad to see them go away from the white and red look, although it did stand out, the use of colors in the cover alludes to how lush and rich the Thedas looks this time around
Lady Sif is gonna be pissed she missed this...
She is gonna flip her **** lol
No female inquisitor either
The Inquisitor on the cover was intended to be of "uncertain gender"...
An uncertain gender was absolutely intended. It's whoever you want to roll, essentially.
No female inquisitor either
They left the Inquisitor's gender ambiguous. The only thing one can gather from the box art is that the Inquisitor is neither Qunari or a Dwarf. It's cleverly handled.
Easily the best box art of the three, IMO. It's a thing of beauty. Kudos, art team!

This definitely confirms these guys as the Inquisitors. They've clearly got the green-fade stuff glowing in their hands, and you can see on the HD cover art that Inquisitor seems to have a gash on the back of their hand that is glowing green like the tears.
No female inquisitor either
Um..I can't tell whether that is a male or female Inquisitor on the cover and I think that was their intention. I'm happy they went with this.

It really doesn't look gender neutral to me but hey the rest is great
Nice cover indeed, gets away a bit from the red and white. Well done on the cover art.
I wonder what area it is? looks similar to this:
But still not quite. I don't think we've seen any pics showing an area with buildings on top of (very pointy) mountains like the ones on the cover art before. Besides, there's no snow from what I can see.
Hmmmmmm It seems to remind me of various screen shots actually ![]()

I just love the cover art! Its exactly what I've come to expect from Bioware. They always have beautiful art to show us.

Yeah, it's Viv. She has a tiny disney waist.
Wow, I really love the cover! Nice job for not putting a face on the box, Bioware. It makes our characters feel more special. ![]()
I love that the demons actually look sinister and, well, demony. I hope we can expect that in game.

This concept art presents this, I guess:
There is no way to tell gender when someone has their back to you while wearing armour and a helmet.
It's deliberately ambiguous, and that's awesome.
But saying that, I think she looks fantastic.
Yup, he's handsome / She's beautiful.
I hope trailers will keep going on that route.

I like how the Inquisitor could be either male or female, you can't tell, if that was intended?

It looks more gender neutral than DAO&DA2. Male or female, you know it's a powerful fighter. That's good enough for me.
I think it's gorgeous. I really think they managed to make it gender neutral. I like what they did.
