As he was supposed to be one in DAO and a mage in DA2. I don't see nothing wrong with it.
I'd have preferred a cover without the protagonist, but it'd something DA alway had in their main games, and this is my favourite one.
That's true. Hawke had a magery element in the marketing, even though there was a ton of other marketing that kept him more Warrior.
imo:
DA:O - Warrior- Rogue - Mage (mostly Warrior)
DA:2 - Warrior - Rogue/Mage (more even for Rogue and Mage overall)
DA:I - Warrior/Mage - Rogue (more even for Warrior and Mage overall)
I'd like Mage-Rogue-Warrior for the next game
. Shake things up significantly.
EDIT: BTW a reason I imagine up for Bioware not making a more Rogue centric game is partially because there really ought to be QUITE advanced and interesting mechanics for rogue-ery that likely still don't exist yet. I'm perfectly fine with the series taking its time on it, until I can be a rogue in every way I could ever think of. For now, smashy smashy warrior fighting - even with Inquisition, albeit less than in previous games it seems.
