EB Games has a release date of the 9th.

I really don't like it when companies do things like that. Why can't Oct 7th be a worldwide release date?

Interesting... I think her current incarnation in DAI looks the most like the CGI version in the Sacred Ashes trailer. It's almost like this is the one they wanted to make all along, but were limited by the game engines of DAO/2.

Maybe because of time zones? In New Zealand we're a day ahead of everyone, so if it was released on the 7th here we'd get it on America's 6th.

For it to be released at the same time it should come out on the 8th, and places that share our time zone. But I'm honestly happy with the fact we get it even a few days after, sometimes we have to wait like an extra week and a half for books/games to come out.

Jeez, I understand being a bit irritant that a developer decided to use a male pronoun for character that WE ALL KNOW COULD BE EITHER FEMALE OR MALE  in an interview but alienating female audiences?

problem being that the language has male defaults... Mankind, Human, "Hey guys"... the default in our language is male... which means it also is meant to include females when male terms are used in plural forms...Also the person being interviewed is male so it is logical to use male terminology as it is the core oh his experience.
of course if we were going to talk about defaults in regard to biology then the default is female.

No such thing. "They" is plural and implies more than one person. I've had this tendency to use "they" to refer to one person without specifying a gender just to be politically correct beaten out of me since high school. It's just factually incorrect. Of course I'm also a writer so I suppose I'm biased but still, the convention is that you go with one gender or the other -- he or she -- in this case Darrah went with "he" -- likely because he's male, no biggie. Call your inquisitor "she."
