I thought it was a nice change of pace, as well, though I'd prefer everybody to somehow come up with a singular, gender-neutral pronoun that isn't they/them....buuuut most of the news is originally written in English so I guess it's a lost cause on that front.

Does anyone know if there is going to be a collector's edition released for the 360? I've been searching for one to preorder but I can only see the digital deluxe edition for pc on origin, all the 360 ones I've come across are just standard editions.

That's a pretty big piece of info to forget to mention. 
There are more collector's editions coming soon, they just haven't announced them yet.
The Deluxe Edition is not really a special edition, it just has preorder bonuses.

, I went on the Game website and they had the deluxe one on there to preorder, which I have done. I just hope I don't have another Mass Effect 3 incident. I had the Collector's edition of ME3 ordered months in advance and one week before release I received an email saying Game and EA had fallen out and no Game stores would be receiving any copies of ME3 and my order was cancelled. Obviously I wasn't happy and could not get a collector's edition anywhere, had to order a standard, and I'd been looking forward to my robot dog and N7 hoodie and Normandy lithograph picture so much.

That is incorrect. The unicorn/halla/etc. bonus can be gotten after game launch with the deluxe edition (same as it was with ME2 and ME3).
The pre-order bonus is the Flames of the Inquisition Pack, and you get it if you pre-order the standard edition as well.

£59.99 when I ordered it just a bit ago, a bit steep for some ingame extras and nothing physical (I like concept art books and stuff like that), but as long as I get it I'll be happy.
