I can not stand Tallis either, she was too much in-setting savvy in Mask of the Assassin  to my taste. Actually, the only one of Felicia's video game characters I adore is Zojja in GW2.

Yes Tallis as an Inquisition adviser.  People have been saying they wanted a Female Qunari.

I wouldn't be surprised had qunari appeared in Inquisition just to foreshadow qunari invasion in next DA title and Talis appearance would be in context of either warning or expanding qunari lore in the game.
