That makes too much sense. Bioware would rather take the time to switch art styles when they only have 16 months to make a game instead of 30.

Not sure if this is sarcasm or you're actually agreeing with me....but Bioware has already had more than 16 months to work on DA3 since DA2 released. 

I don't dislike the DA2 art style, I just prefer origins. I'd much prefer a dark, gritty, realistic style for an RPG such as this. DA2 was just too bright and colorful. I couldn't make a character without his hair looking like wax and eyes like an anime character.

So true.
On my 6,794,986 playthrough of both games and my Hawke looks like a wax figurine.
The skin, hair, eyes on my character just ruins this art style for me. Too cartoony.
I'm not saying it's necessarily bad but I prefer DA:O's art style over DA2's and I pray to the Maker that they go back to Origin's art style and improve it greatly.
And if we ever get to see the Warden and Hawke in DA3, seeing my Hawke in DA:O's art style would interest me. Happy that my Warden didn't show up in DA2 though with what they did to the elves.

Looks like there have been some fighting going on...
Not too fond of the picture , reminds me of Kirkwall and the very bland architecture of the Viscount place , and houses of Hightown.

Maybe some artwork came from the expansion "Exalted March" ,they probably did some , no?
I imagine artwork is done very early when making a game.

Could you make a new thread for World of Thedas discussion and screenhots please?

I feel like the constant drip-feeding of preview images has little if anything to do with what devs have tweeted recently, and if people are looking for information about the encyclopedia they're not going to look here first.

A new thread that mentions World of Thedas in its title would be probably a more appropriate place to post those screenshots, and you'd probably get more discussion too.

They have no horns , I think Tal-Vashoth remove them , so yeah maybe.

Actually, as we learned from Tallis, the Ben-Hasserth are armed and they can be female. So Qunari don't necessarily have to be soldiers to be armed or fight.

QFT. Awesome pictures are awesome, but they are deserving of their own thread. (Actually, my apologies for the OT before.)
