I asked Mike and he made it sound like she just wanted to visit and get a tour, presumably because she's a fan.  Stuff like this does happen with a lot of people, it's just that Felicia is more publicly well known so there's a degree of notoriety.

 

I had a serendipitous introduction with her as she got into the elevator I was in.  Was certainly not on the list of "things I was expecting to happen today."  Chatted briefly during lunch, and unsurprisingly she seems pretty nice and was excited about the game.

She's actually appearing at the Calgary Comic-Con, so she probably just swung up to Edmonton on a side trip.

Fine but that doesn't mean they can't then go back and edit it... just need to add an "edited on [insert date] for Correction of facts"

 

I think if you make the effort to track them down and point out the errors (backed up with facts they can check), at least some will make the effort to correct their articles. I know Lady Insanity had some success when gaming sites were taking info from her Pax blog and getting it wrong.

That does make the most sense.  I'm not attending the Con this year, but the timing is pretty convenient.

I'd recommend touching base with someone so that they could plan ahead somewhat.  I was in LA on holiday, and went and visited Obsidian Entertainment simply by touching base with one of their designers.  Fortunately schedules lined up and it was pretty cool!

I have to say, some of the media coverage of DA:I is already pretty poor. Even when just transcribing an interview with Mike, IGN still managed to get things wrong here and mix up information. Saying that Orlais and Ferelden are "twice the size of the Korcari Wilds" seems to massively understate the amount of areas, given that apparently it's each map that is this size, not the entire gameworld. 

 

(Although now that I look at it, it sounds like IGN Benelux translated Mike's statements into French and then they were re-translated back into English for the article. Weird.)

This is the last Friday in April, so it would be rather odd if they didn't.

I think when we asked them if they'd tell us which companion it was that'd  be revealed last week they said "not yet", or something along those lines. And since the plan has always been to show a new companion the last Friday each month, and nothing else has been said, I think it's okay to assume that we'll get a reveal today. I wouldn't be terribly surprisedif we didn't get a reveal though, since we've already got a ton of new info this week, and it's not like Bioware have done everything they said they would when it comes to sharing info with us (I'm looking at you, devdiaries!).

I'd love it if they revealed the 3rd mage aswell. I think they'll reveal someone else first, though. My bet's on either Solas or Iron bull, and Solas would be very interesting to learn more about, since we really don't know anything about him other than the facts that he's an elvish male mage named Solas with a love for pyjamas pants.
