I just hope that Inquisitiion wil have a toolset like Origin's. The lack of one in DA2 diminished the game.
I wouldn't count on it, sadly.

Can you confirm if there's a Dragon Age III: Inquisition reveal trailer in the works?! My Girlfriend & I would love to know

I'd really like to climb on those rooftops, now. Maybe we could drop the RPG entirely and just make Assassin's Creed Age. I'd play that.
Add some steam punk elements and you've basically got a game like ''Thief the metal age.''(I'm still waiting for Thief 4)

@chengeling - Is there going to be a possibility of Dragon Age: Origins characters showing up in III? Or is the timeline too far apart?
@Mike_Laidlaw - If there's one thing I've learned, it's that everything is possible. (though mostly at zombo.com)

Well, we already know that Leliana is bound to show up. I hope some of the others will though. And I hope to hear about Wynne, maybe see her son. I liked her.

I don't think it worked.
I would like someone to reference her though, considering that she was apparently a big cheese in the Circle hierarchy, and close to the Divine. And her son plays an active part in the mage rebellion.

Whoops, sorry for pointing it out. And I think if her son is in the game or if we go to the circle she was at she'll be mentioned. If not i'd find that a little weird.ReallyRue wrote...

Yeah, I just talked to a friend of mine who knows a good deal about this sort of thing. He says modding on a Frostbite2 engine is pretty much out of the question. (At least in DA2 it was possible to mod at all.) It has to do with the company who provides the engine, if I remember what he told me correctly, something about being picky about giving out their coding information and such.
But, I wouldn't say 100% certain because I don't know much about this sort of thing myself. I'm an Xbox 360 player so it doesn't affect me. (Might switch over to playstation for the new gen consoles...if I managed to scrap money together to buy a new console at all or just a decent gaming PC... depending on what the policy on used games is for the next Xbox- the only reason I got a 360 instead of a PS3 was for Mass Effect before the trilogy pack came out to make it availible on the PS3...and because Fable 2 was 360 exclusive.)

My, those guys&girls at DICE were embarassed and pissed-off, LOL.
It *should* be possible to mod DAIII (depending also on the changes that Bioware has made to it to enable RPG-goodiness) but it might be very, very hard - and perhaps even obstructed by the ToU depending on which foul mood EA is in at that time.

@Fenrir: So far no modding tools have been given out for any Frostbite-game. DICE even went as far as to say that modding with the Frostbite-engine is impossible, and then had modders banned straight away who proved DICE wrong with an color-changing mod (or whatever it exactly was).

I don't get why some people in the video game industry are so adamantly opposed to modding. An active modding community extends the life of games, extending the window of DLC viability. It makes very little sense from a business point of view to oppose modding. Modding is not pirating. Modding is not undercutting developers.
