I have a feeling that this will end with someone making a suit out of Mr. Ellis' skin. He knows not what he is doing.
It's only a matter of time.

I think the Cullen squeeing needs to move out of the twitter thread and back to the Cullen thread. And I say that with no offense meant whatsoever. I'm up for some squeeing any time, but I think a lot of people in here aren't very interested in hearing it.

Hi Mr. Laidlaw, I keep hearing that Cullen isn't a comp. This has not been confirmed or unconfirmed by Bioware correct?
So far, all we've said is that he's in the game, and that he is a potential love interest. That's it.
(I'm pretty sure they've already confirmed in one of the magazine interviews that he is an advisor.)

Nope. They confirmed Leliana but they didn't specify which character is the military advisor.User

Yes, and it is educated guess ( more like 100% sure) that Cullen will be military advisor, Leliana spy stuff and Scribe girl - trade and nobility. Actually nobility could be Leliana or shared between the two. And i believe Cullen will be best used as advisor, because all he does in his entire life is following orders, so they got him the best role possible for his character. Leliana on the other hand is Leliana and is ****** awesome. Especially with the new graphics and stuff.

I'll have a look, I remember Cameron Lee saying lots of things but I'm not sure if it was tied to Cullen.
Actually, the Cullen thread will know!
The Inquisition has three main pillars right, they have a military force lead by one particular character, you've got a secret facet with spies and assassins lead by Leliana from DAO and then you've got a political pillar, which is all about the politics, the backroom deals and the connections you have... not just through nobles but also through merchant houses and stuff like that.

Actually, I am pretty sure I saw it... somewhere. When I have a chance later today I'll dig it up.

Why use "potential" there? They already said he was a love interest.
I'm mostly wondering at the grammatical implication, English is not my first language.

That means he's an option, that you could have him as a love interest if you want. If he was "a love interest" that would means he would be your love interest no matter what.

I think in this instance, potential love interest just means you CAN romance him but aren't forced to.
Haha, Vapaa beat me to it.

Thanks. I see what you mean now. I would I read "optional" even without the potential there.

Potential meaning it may be the case in some games.
(A word that some other devs use sometimes is "optional")
