It sounds like they're still in the pre-Alpha/Alpha meat grinder...

The early part of Pre-Production, when we’re doing the concepting, is always the best. Everything is possible. Everything will be better than the last game. Everyone is excited.

 

The worst part is the march towards Alpha, such as where we’re at with Inquisition right now. That’s when all the hard cuts happen for Writing (downstream teams generally get hit later on). Nothing is possible. Everything seems to slowly get worse. Everyone is exhausted.

 

It gets better by Beta, though. It always gets better.

 

Hopefully they're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel though!

The release date is October 7th (US) and October 10th (EU). It was revealed in the new trailer.
