So far, in the green wars, everyone seems to be on @PatrickWeekes' side, listing vibrant greens. (Also note the usage of S-Apostrophe.)

The Dalish elves call it the "Emerald Graves" for the trees that now represent lives sacrificed in battle. #DAI
Wow.
Just.... wow.
(Edit: Better image...)
Eeeeeeeeee~ ![]()
It looks beautiful! I wonder if that wolf is suppose to represent Fen'Harel or it's just decorations.
If it's a Dalish camp it could be that statue of Fen'Harel they always put out to "look away" from their camp. But it's kinda big...
It could be... but wasn't there also a screenshot a while back that had statues of the Dalish Knight's guardian dogs?
Eh? I think I might've missed this... ![]()

What is an appropriate shade of green? A contentious topic. It's almost as bad as the Apostrophe-S-or-S-Apostrophe Battle of '10.
@SherylChee I think this will beat the apostrophe wars as the bloodiest battle in Writers' Pit history.
@BioMaryKirby @SherylChee This is, however, a battlefield that I control. Weekes tweaks my OCD at his peril.

I hope they release those images without the text so I can make them my new backround 8D. Looks so pretty and colorful.

It may not be exactly what you are looking for, and you have likely heard as well, but there is an art book for Inquisition coming out on Oct. 7...I bet it will have these images in it without any text over them. If they do that in physical form, they'll hopefully remove the text and release the images as is online too... ![]()
*fingers crossed*

As someone with an s at the end of my last name, I'm on the S-Apostrophe side. Because when I see the Apostrophe-S, I read it as an extra syllable, like "Weekes-es", for example. That just ain't right, imo.
Re: the Dales Forest image: have we seen any pics of DA:I versions of aravels yet? I'd like to see what they look like now.

We've had some glimpses of aravels in concept art and screenshots... They look similar to the way they were in DA2. More boat-like with the tall red sails.

Just when I'm about to spam questioning him :/ lol
Seems like they are really busy recently, I guess I should restrain myself from asking questions and patiently wait for more info.

Well, you're supposed to either way, which is why -s's is better for names and singular common nouns that end with s. Not to mention the headdesk-worthy use of "Louis'" I've seen in cases where the name's pronounced with a silent s, i.e. "Louie" and thus "Louie's", not "Louie'". A wholly subjective quality of any particular "look" must never be the deciding factor for a spelling. (It's already the ultimate reason behind way too many legacy spellings anyway, e.g. most English c's and most German v's.) In fact, preservation of etymological roots (albeit rather modern a motive) is the only thing that should ever stand in the way of clear and simple spelling (reform). If it's a plural common noun with the standard -s suffix, then it's -s', of course, as it then actually reflects the pronunciation.
