I've seen undead horses a-plenty. I've never seen anyone stick a spike through one's head and call it a "unicorn," however. You need a pretty twisted sense of humour to do that.

I should have guessed from the "bog unicorn" and the "bog" concept art that it was a undead horse. Perfect for a Necromancer...totally creepy otherwise.

 

The Throne isn't shaped like I expect it, but I like it, in a tribal sort of ways.

Will the game give us clear hints if areas are too difficult for our inquisitor to venture into? Or will it be trial-by-error?

Maybe I have to see them in motion, but those mounts don't look all that great.

To me it looks like they took the render shot from somewhat far away in the engine, which would have automatically set it to a lower subdivision via the LoD mechanics most game engines now employ, so what we are seeing is a lower poly/texture size version of the asset. If you look at a lot of the character screenshots and video (the "lineup" shot over the Inquisition table is a perfect example of this), they look nowhere near as good in a full shot than as they do in a close up. I have a feeling this will be that way, too. Image compression could also be a contributing factor.

I'm actually not too happy with the halla. I know it's a different kind since it's a red hart but I wanted the white hallas we've seen in the past. On the flip side I love the unicorn. It's so ugly and fantastic.

I imagine the standard halla will be something you can get/unlock in the game (maybe specifically if you play an elf?). And this 'special' halla is just for the pre-order.

 

At least, I hope so! I'd love my elf Inquisitor to ride one of the white hallas.
