My favourite fantasy series hands down. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw the Dragon throne as well. It was also incidentally, where I first came across Matt Rhodes. I used to be part of a Tad Williams forum years ago and he used to post his fan art for MS&T there, I even remember when another poster told us that he'd been hired by Bioware. It's been a priviledge personally to have watched how he's progressed artistically since those days.

 

I'm also seriously considering Miriamele for my first Inquisitor now lol

Apparently so! Though I'm currently working on Dirty Streets of Heaven and must restrict myself to one Tad Williams doorstopper at a time.

As for the three Deluxe things... I'm a bit disappointed.

 

The Halla is, well... I was expecting something more like the HoDA version of the Halla... These horns make me feel like I'll be riding a bicycle. Just add a bell on one of them, and you're set to go.

 

The bog unicorn - well I've been expecting something hedious, so I'm not really surprised, and it is a good joke. But would you really want to ride a joke for the entire game?

 

As for the throne, well. It's pretty, I guess, in a Boris Vallejo type aesthetics, but that's not really how I thought of DA in general, or DAI in particular.

Occam's razor would agree. I guess, if my second Inquisitor - a human mage - ends up being a necromancer, I might use it. So far, though, the halla for my main Dalish rogue is the only incentive I'd have for the deluxe edition, and I'm sure there'll be at least one other halla to choose from. Just as well. Saves me money unless the so-called uber edition really lives up to its name.
