Is it me or is Varric a very high dwarf?
Varric: "I cant see anything."
Solas: "Shall I describe it to you...or would you like me to find you a box?"
Varric: ...*chuckles*
Varric's closer to the camera. He probably bribed the cinematographer to make him look taller.
Is it me or is Varric a very high dwarf?
"Duuuuude... this red lyrium is totally trippin' me out, man."
The inquisitors arms. So thick and....
Hnnng... *composes self*
Ahem...
Yes that pic is glorious. Is Varric taller? O.0
Sorry dear, you can't romance yourself. ![]()
Dear Bioware can you say us only names two of our new companions? We are tired to call them Grey Warden and Dramatic Hand Moutache Guy.

I thought we knew almost for certain that it was Dorian?
The only 2 i'm sure we don't know is the Grey Warden and Scribbles.
Twitter thread, I'm requesting your help. A few weeks back, DG said (in a tweet, I believe) that he was working on a "coming-out" story line for one of the characters. I'm having a heck of a time finding a source. Is anyone able to help me with this?
Hmmm... I don't recall that tweet. Maybe Sif will remember?
No I don't recall this tweet either sorry. Maybe eluvianix will remember?
What does the thread title "waiting for Godot" mean?
I think it's the name of a play, but I'm unsure of the relevance.
EDIT: I checked wikipedia. From https://en.wikipedia...iting_for_Godot :
"Waiting for Godot (/ˈɡɒdoʊ/ god-oh[1]) is an absurdist play by Samuel Beckett, in which two characters, Vladimir and Estragon, wait endlessly and in vain for the arrival of someone named Godot."
Haha, "wait endlessly". I get it.
It's a play by Samuel Beckett - it tells the story of two people waiting endlessly for 'Godot', who never arrives ![]()

The only thing I can vaguely recall is that it might've come up in one of those perennial "playersexual romance" threads that keep appearing on the forum - in that scenario, it might've been used as an example of a storyline that works better with purely s/s options.
But I'm not confident that something like that even happened (and if it did, I wouldn't know where to begin looking for it) - certainly, I think there would've been way more of a hubbub on the BSN if David had ever said he was writing a "coming out" plot for a character.
Had a dream last night that @AarynFlynn tasked me with fixing his car. But I could only get parts from an abandoned hydro plant.
@eplerjc Yeah I think we're nearing that part of the project
I vaguely remember one of the Devs (I think it was Allan Schumacher, but I'm not at all sure about that) responding on one of the threads that popped up after Cameron Lee commented that the romances in the game would not be all bisexual this time around. He was talking about having been in some con, and that one guy in the audience asked about more specific LGBT content in the game, and that a coming out story was an example for that (I think the context was that that fan got a feeling during the game that Alistair was a closeted gay guy, which is an impression I sort of get, there were several places where I had to do a metaphorical double take at some of the things he said - like the licking of lampposts in winter - and thought "are you sure this guy is not gay?"). He then went on to say that having a character that has a predetermined fixed sexual orientation would make such a story more likely. However, I could be mixing up several comments made by different devs at different times. Memory is an unreliable witness.
As an aside, I think such a story could also play well with a non-romanceable companion - an Arcade Gannon type character.

No recollection at all. I don't think such a tweet ever existed.
I just have to nip in here and say the title of this thread is inspired and hilarious.
Ummm, what does the new thread title mean?
If a Deepstalker existed in real life, there would be NOPE memes. #DAI
@joshstiksma They just wanna be loved.

Waiting for Godot is an absurdist play where two men basically spend the whole play waiting for a man named Godot.
I'm not really sure the title is really that relevent, Bioware hasn't really promised us anything after all
. And we do have a release date. And Godot regularly checks in with us and gives us information
.

Naive, brooding, or just downright flirty, some elves are hard to forget. #DAI pic.twitter.com/Ws3ZuFXHfC

I liked all three of them, but Fenris is my favorite.
