I have this paranoid little delusion that they are actually right and the devs are waiting till E3 to blow out socks off with Nevarra. A guy can hope right?
I don't see why they'd mislead the tiny group of hardcore invested people who are listening to every word only to surprise them later. Why would they want to surprise *us*, when not many people are even fully paying attention to the game at this point? Where does that get them? Falsely claiming that the game is smaller is hardly a good marketing strategy - because if people saw Mike's denial of Nevarra/the FM and didn't watch an E3 reveal, they'd come away thinking the game is less impressive than it actually is.
The simpler explanation is that OXM just screwed up, which is unsurprising given the amount of other mistakes that magazines made during that press event.
(Frankly people see vast dev plans and hidden meanings when they simply don't exist and were never intended to exist - look at what happened with Indoctination Theory.)
I think a lot of these misprints are inciting more misprints. One place sees an article and thinks "Ohhhh, I didn't get that info! QUICK FIRE UP THE PRINTER!" So we get a bunch of places repeating the same false information over and over until everyone believes it as fact. Best thing Bioware can do is denounce the false info at E3. That should shut up the magazines that keep spreading rumors as fact. lol

Not to put too fine a point on it, but the devs have been known to deny something flat out, even as they knew it was in the game. I'm talking of course about the races reveal, when some devs insisted there would only be one race almost to the very day in which it was revealed there would be three.
Now, personally I do not believe Nevarra and the FM would be in the game, but I can see why other people would suspect otherwise (even though I think they are prepping themselves for disappointment).

But I don't really see a reason for Mike to so clearly refute that rumour if Nevarra and the Marches were actually still in the game somewhere. They could easily just be vague and say "find out in the game", if OXM got it right. Shooting it down surely means they wanted to avoid people building false expectations.
(And as we've seen, it didn't really stop a bunch of other websites continuing to report Nevarra/FM as areas in the game.)

God, those people were sad.
When they stated that there weren't non human PC the game was supposed to be released in 2013. They announced the other races in August, after they revealed already the year delay. The race options are a first results of the year delay.Just as they did with non human PCs

This was picked up in the US mag but I forgot to edit it out while uploading the feature to the site. Wrist-slaps all round 
I've removed the lines in question and tweaked the para about endings to make it clear that we're talking about major variations. Sorry for the cluck-up!"

Solas is wearing a different outfit in that than he is in the trailer and the small war table shot from Felicia Day's video. Has anyone else been shown in different clothes? It seems like everyone else has always had on the same thing.
