From David Gaider's Tumblr: How can a talented Game Designer get a job without offical in-buisness work reference (still unemployed in this market)?

Alistair McNally @Al_McNally

Did I mention that #DragonAgeInquisition launches on my birthday? Probably the best present ever! #BioWare

Can you guys work on a female Inquisitor trailer for those that prefer playing female Grey Wardens, Champions and etc?

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

We’ll get some female Inquisitors out there at some point!

Less than a month until #E3! :D

Not exactly 'Twitter', but there is a new article about the darkspawn and the Grey Wardens on the official site. Just old codex entries, but a couple of new concepts too:

Those darkspawn seem like a blend between the DA:O and DA2 styles, and look much creepier than both. I approve.

Still a little too spiky IMO, but I will say that those concepts look miles ahead of the DA 2 Darkspawn.

I'm sure I've already seen the big Darkspawn before

edit:  Wiki says he's DA2 concept art for a Hurlock Alpha

By the end of the DA Franchise. I wonder which will have change more overtime, the Elves or the Darkspawn? lol

They look more like corpses to me.  But then, DA's Darkspawn always struck me as a cross between zombies and orcs.

I think the Darkspawn have a little more leeway in terms of appearance then the Elves do; though I am not in favor of the DA 2 Darkspawn design.

I mean if we look at a Darkspawn's 'life cycle', they pop out of this:

as one of these:

Which, later become one of these:

In the first concept (where we can clearly see Solas. He has the same appearance as in The concept with the pride demon), the upper left part reminds me of the concept posted this summer, with the Old God reference. It might be the same area.
The update presented the screenshot of the Western Approach as well. Could it be part of the same area?

Adamant fortress perhaps?
It's in the desert, there is a massive chasm and the land looks blighted.

This is most definitely Adamant fortress from Asunder. You can clearly see the Abyssal Rift there as well.

Yeah, I think it's Adamant.

There have been hints that the Wardens are up to something sneaky there.

I'm exactly the same way.

You're starting to freak me out. You're just me but in another country.

Nifty, the faraway version of me likes Margaery enough to dedicate their avatar to her. Surely I'd have done the same had I not been uncharacteristically narcissistic enough to use a photograph of myself instead.

I bet we even both like Dragon Age. Do you like Dragon Age? I like Dragon Age!

Is dual wieding swords possible in Inquisition?

I am not discussing gear at this point, correct.

I don't remember there being any deserts in Fereldan. The Adamant Fortress sounds much more plausible.

Yes, the fires of the blight are burning 10+ years. Good point.

I wonder if that means there will be a splinter cell of wardens, one that we fight and one that we help

Seeing as we have a GW on our team, I would say that sounds highly possible.

Is that one darkspawn (the smaller) female? The body proportions would suggest so.

I'm not a fan of those spikes. And these concept art of the darkspawn are from DA2. The alpha hurlock is the Legacy model and the hurlock is from an old concept art of Lothering IIRC.

I think the Darkspawn have a little more leeway in terms of appearance then the Elves do; though I am not in favor of the DA 2 Darkspawn design.

The Children are a different type of species from other darkspawn.
