What the heck are the giant pointy things?
I hope Adamant Fortress has plenty of callbacks to Dragon Age Asunder and is reasonably translated from it's description in the books.
From DAWiki :The fortress appears to be small, but is sturdy, with tall walls made of dark jetstone. In fact it is built into the side of the chasm with vast halls down below. Once, it belonged to the Grey Wardens who battled the darkspawn that rose from the chasm during the Second Blight. Then it housed more than a thousand men and griffons - the old weyrs opened onto the chasm. In time, the Wardens abandoned the fortress, but some residents lingered.
Ah! No wonder it looked female it's a little ghoul!

@IlidanDA @BioMarkDarrah @Mike_Laidlaw @AarynFlynn Those pics go from good,to bad to worse.I liked DA:O Hurlock.DA:I look like homeless guy

@User @IlidanDA @BioMarkDarrah @AarynFlynn That's not a hurlock it's a ghoul.
It makes sense for their armor to be so thrown together as well. I always felt DAO's Darkspawn looked too well put together for crazy, blood thirsty creatures.
The DA:O darkspawn mooks had armour that was more ornate than the King of Ferelden.
If Thedas turns out to be post-apocalyptic Earth and the darkspawn are revealed to be radioactive mutants worshipping a nuclear bomb, I'm torching all my DA stuff.
ARCH. DEMON. STATUES. O_O
I figured the spikes were to protect against archdemons.
They're not really effective then, cause the chasm in the concept art was at the other end, and that end doesn't have spikes. Seriously.. it's weird.. can a developer clarify whether or not there's a reason to it, or is it just a gimmick?

Ooh.... so that's why it looks a bit small for a 1000 men. Good to know..

Trying to figure out if this is a real meeting everyone else is late for, or maybe did I just get Prank'd...

Beats me. Could be there for hindering a dragon / Archdemon getting a proper "hold" on the keep, making it hard for it to attack from the sides.
Or it could be completely stylish. Wouldn't be the first time.

Wait isn't this the same Keep from the PAX demo... only that one was called Griffon Wing Keep?

Hmm... it does look like the same keep, right down to the little tree by the main gate. So if it isn't Adamant, they're using the same graphic assets. It could be a WIP though. And we know the Grey Wardens had multiple keeps in the region...

Nah... I don't think they'd dare reuse environments to that degree
. The outcry would be enormous... I think it is Adamant, only that it was called something different at the time and since they changed it to Adamant. This video is almost a year old, mind you, and it came out before Asunder.
But yup, it's the same thing, right down to the weird-looking spikes.

Fired off a tweet to DA, we'll see if they comment on this...
