Do you know what time it is?

CHART TIME!
tumblr_n5p83sIex51qghomuo1_1280.png

Thought I'd help if you don't mind?

Solas has a few  meanings to the name, I've looked on the internet and found these

Irish meaning: Light

Latin meaning: Alone

http://www.wordsense.eu/solas/

Of course in the game it means Pride!  :P

EDIT: oops I forgot to add the old french meaning which is : Joy; pleasure; enjoyment

Imagine, however, the legend of your Inquisition should you fell such a beast!

You'll venture out.  And it will be scary.  And you will face your fear.  And you will triumph over it.  Because you are the Inquisitor!

B)

Your right!! I am so pumped now and ready to slay that beast! I AM GOD! Well sort of haha...ha...I'm the uneasy dragonphobic Inquisitor.

I always thought Leliana's name was a reference to the Andraste's Grace flower in DAO?

Can we take the name discussion to another thread please?

It's not really helpful to post random things in here all the time.

David Hulegaard @HulegaardBooks

Cleaned out my closet today and found a brand new Varric t-shirt hidden on a shelf. Don't remember buying it, but I'll take it!

Funny story - we were doing a test run in a particular level to make sure one of the quests within it was working. As we were travelling through a mountain pass, we noticed that one of our party was suddenly missing and was losing health. A LOT of health.

We spun the camera round but couldn't see where our party member was, or where the damage was coming from. Then we heard it - the most earth shattering scream/roar the audio department have ever created.

Now... anyone who's familiar with physics (or Terry Pratchett) will know that an off screen dragon is neither dead or alive - but when we finally party switched to our missing member, this one was absolutely FURIOUS.

To answer your question - yes. Dragons are bigger. Much bigger. They're also one of the most primal, aggressive and terrifying things you'll encounter...

...that we've announced, anyhow  ;)

Quick shoot it, shoot the dragon
But its a Million to one shot
So Shoot it... everyone knows that the only shots that hit are Million to One shots

Seeing the size of that dragon head , it reminds me of DA2 and how high dragons used to chew on poor Fenris in my playthrough.(or Alistair in DAO)

I'm not sure it's going to be possible in DAI , with the big enough to swallow you whole mouth.

I'm probably going to use the Iron Bull as a tank , if he gets eaten ...maybe his horns could do some internal damage.

I love this, however as a furthering of Schrödinger's thought experiment. Except that there were observables outside the "box," but it have me some good thoughts.

Also, these are my Favourite types of gaming stories. I bet that ended up being really fun!

Can't see if Sarah (thats how i call her sorry) has pretty face or not. Bioware in general always put a hottie in their games, sometimes they put 2. I hope they did not choose the Frostbite 3 engine to deliver average ladies. I actually thought Serah was not attractive but this close up on the picture above me gives hope.

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

The boy is apparently sleeping in today, so it's time to file some bugs on #DAI! First bug of the day was on how we handle emotional dialog.

John Epler @eplerjc

@Mike_Laidlaw If I get a 'Needs More Banana' bug I tell ya...

User

I'm curious, but how many hours on average will you spend doing this?

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

At the end of the project, I probably spend 4-5 hours a day filing, annotating or assigning bugs across the design group.

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

QA can catch a lot more issues than I can by myself, but I can often spot "invisible" problems: content that plays wrong.

User

How do you get a bug on emotional dialog?

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

Well, if it's supposed to work one way, but works another...you file a bug!

User

What's the funniest bug out of all of the DA games you have found?

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

The day where the horse had rubber legs flailing under its body was pretty spectacular.

How many bugs have you found?

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

Over the course of a DA project, I will usually file somewhere between 1500-2000 bugs myself. Total counts are 50K+

User

what has been the most challenging bug to fix?

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

The hardest bug to fix is the hardest bug to reproduce. Rare, obscure crashes or failures are a pain.

User

Do you guys use JIRA for bug tracking?

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

DevTrack.

User

About how long will that take generally?

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

To...do which? File the bugs myself? It happens over months.

User

Also do you know when more information about character creation will be released?

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

I do not. I know it will be before release.

Change "whites" and "indians" to Human and Dalish and you pretty much have @dragonage. @davidgaider @Mike_Laidlaw http://s3-ec.buzzfed.com/static/2014-05/enhanced/webdr06/16/12/enhanced-22099-1400257490-15.jpg

David Gaider @davidgaider

You can find analogies between the Dalish and any number of real-world cultures, if you really want to.

DA Fan @DAEanders6

For the purpose of vagueness (which I know you love), is "Archdemon" mentioned at leas once in the game?

David Gaider @davidgaider

Including in the codex? Sure. :)

Ability Drain @AbilityDrain

Will you guys make another blooper reel with all the funny glitches, like you did for DA:O?

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

Possibly. Need to get game done first.

:)

- I hope they do, some of these bugs they've been tweeting sound hilarious.
