I think this is ok. Lady Insanity is a good contributor to the fandom. Half the stuff we know from PAX was because of her. So I think this is ok.

Are the masks intricate or gaudy? Or, does it, like elsewhere, depend on the person?

Depends on social class, but more intricate than gaudy. Masked Empire novel does a good job describing them.

I base it on when the picture appeared on the site. It was right after Celene was mentioned Just seems logical.
