Anyhoo, I like it short like that. By the codex entry it looks like she finally made it to Val Royeaux after all.

Or maybe I completely misunderstood the whole thing.

Well the graphics are a lot more convincing, so it's less noticeable. Also I'm paying less attention.

I was just being specific, I didn't mean much by it. I suppose it would be odd in real life as well, since we see so many people with different lengths of hair and hairstyles every day. The difference is that if you happen to come across a large number of people with short hair/bald in real life it really would be by chance and random. When it appears in one video game with pretty much all characters, including ones were it was established that they had long hair, THEN it starts looking suspicious. 

 

I could be proven wrong, of course, by seeing many long haired characters and hairstyles in the game, thus making my observation irrelevant. I'm only talking about what we've seen so far.

We can't see the back of Celene's head there, so it's conceivable that she just has it up in a bun. There have been a few hairstyles like that in previous DA games.
