Looking for movie references for stuff I'm working on, and watched something really disturbing I wish I hadn't. Nightmare fuel.

On the plus side, now you'll get those Human Centipede jokes in South Park.
RUMOUR: Everything Jepler touches to use both shakey cam and slow mo.
Allan Schumacher @AllanSchumacher
John is the expert. I feel I must defer. Shakey cam and slow mo is the best for everything.

Was Patrick the writer who put "anthropocentric bag of dicks" in ME3? That was probably my favourite line in the entire game.
Cameron Harris @camharrWell, today I learned a new word: caliginosity. Thanks, @PatrickWeekes. #editor

I REGRET almost NOTHING!
And you shouldn't! New vocab is like catnip, man. Mmmm, catnip.

At this point I now reflexively throw "This is not a place of honor" into codex entries just to freak out geeks who get the reference.
(... okay, I don't get the reference)

One of the phrases that they wanted to include in the warning was "this place is not a place of honor; no highly esteemed dead are commemorated here". This would hopefully prevent future archaeologists from trying to get inside looking for the 21st-century equivalent of Tut's tomb.
That would just make me think there really were highly commemorated dead buried there and the silly, jealous ancients were trying to keep their cool bones to themselves.
The American nuclear waste depository at Yucca Mountain, Nevada. (It's in the new Godzilla movie if you've seen it.) Since nuclear waste takes so long to decay, they had to try to create warnings about the contents that would prevent anybody, human or not, from accessing the site thousands of years into the future.
These warnings were both complex (the exact nature of the radiation danger) and simple (stay the hell away).
