Lol, that's what I was thinking. "Where are they supposed to put them"?
Controller Cubbies of course. ![]()

Hey QA team, your controllers are purring on your desks again. Maybe you should pick it up and put it somewhere softer.

Working as intended. Excellent.

It's SUPPOSED to fly in circles.
I wonder if they show us Val Royeaux.
I hope not. Visit Orlais but not visit it's capital? Just like visit Paris and didn't see La Tour d' Effel.

Have to love any post that throws in "concomitantly". ![]()

I agree, I really want to see Val Royeaux (the tour d'Effeil is grossly over rated though
)
We're not going on vacation! The city is in turmoil while the civil war is going on, and the main gates have been closed to visitors.

Val Royeuax seems like a late in the game destination, after the Orlesian civil war is over and someone is on the throne?
I hope that this means the specs are deeper than in the past games.User
I'm not 100% sure if you're the person to ask but is there a limit to how many specializations we can have? Or all three?
Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw
I've talked about this before. You'll have one specialization.
Fixed it for youWe're not just some visitors, we're the head of the Inquisition! Besides Cassandra/any warriors won't let some bloody gate stand in her way, not when she/they can bash it to bits.

Going where we are not supposed to go is a staple of Bioware games.
I imagine if we do visit Val Royeaux it'll be a single building (probably the palace). Either that or it'll be the epilogue cut scene, showing the streets lined with happy Orlesians as the new emperor/empress makes their way through the streets.
Is the Flames of the Inquisition armor the one that was in the second part of the PAX demos?
Nope, different.

Bad analogy, really La tour Eiffel is overrated: the queues are horribly long and you woudn't miss a lot by not visiting. But I digress: I don't think we will be left to explore Val Royeaux, the best we can hope for is visiting a couple of "iconic" locations like the Grand Cathedral etc.

You got the point, guys.
I think we will visit it closer to the end of the game- new Emperor or Emperess should enter the city. I hope Developers give us HQ arts and screenshots.
You are just a couple of spelling mistakes from calling it "Val Ragu."
Anyways, I doubt it. Halamshiral will be the main "city."
I doubt that, the only part of Halamshiral they talked about was the Winter Palace which makes me think it will be the only part of the city we visit.
Not to derail the thread any further, but they've shown footage of a city that looked like Val Royeaux before - in the environments trailer, where the Inquisitor and their party (including Solas) were running up a very ornate street.
I too think Halamshiral as an area will just be the Winter Palace, since that seems to be the subtext of dev comments about it. I'd love to be wrong, but it sounds like we won't go to the city proper.
Plus, it hardly makes sense to go to Orlais and not see the capital. It's an excuse for the level artists to go crazy with the architecture, at least.

I also think that's Val Royeaux.
And this:
I've wondered if Val Royeaux might end up as the Final Boss area...
