Today, @bengelinas decided he must go yellow.
Yellow ending confirmed?
We just need to start saying 'the time they announced Vivienne.'
Also, really loving that stones aren't smooth and crisp on the fade building.
Still better than "the time they announced a companion we've known about for half a year like it's news".

Sending an e-mail, I stop to think, "Wait, am I positive this is ALL the musical numbers I put into the game?"
Edit: I think that's Patrick's subconscious telling him to add more musical numbers. A singing Iron Bull would be nice, btw.

We are not the target audience of that marketing. Probably only an incredibly small fraction of DA:I's eventual player base are actually following it closely at this point. The number of fans who care about a game enough to pay attention a year before it comes out is relatively tiny.
(In short: not everything is about us, and nor should it be.)

Was it?

There was one I forgot in a codex entry. Or two. /cough
I’m waiting for the fan arguments between the merits of the Dragon Age Inquisition Original Cast and Broadway Cast recordings
And then, the DAI writing team punched up the punchy and went completely off the grid...
did you go beyond the max?
Waaaaaaay beyond. ![]()
Apparently they should learn that when writers are already punchy, do not give them liquid sugar.
True fact: @KarinWeekes and I communicate half in words and half in emoji on IM. #editor
And half are new words we make up when we roll with a typo that makes what you were going to say EVEN BETTER. ![]()
WE MAEK WRDZ GUD
Sheryl: Are you playing with dice? Luke: (rolls dice) No... #WritersPit
Just heard @BioMarkDarrah say @CaseyDHudson has "the discipline of a bear trap".
That time you are submitting a bug and the bug tracker times out on you, losing everything you had typed up. #youhadonejob
I was just thumbing through the DAI screenshots and I have to say Bioware's done a great job with colour and lighting. Not just for each scene, but to help set each region apart. The cool blue cast of the mountainous regions, the warm sands of the desert, the mix of cool and warm colours in the Dales and the sickly green of the Fade. Kudos all-around!
There is probably a pattern to these reveals but I'm too forgetful to notice it. Are they doing one location a week, roughly?
Specifically mentioning the pattern definitely creates frustration in the times when the pattern is not upheld. Safer to not mention any pattern, if there is one, at this point I think.
Plans for E3 demos? ![]()

hi mark . Mounted combat in Inquisition ? I hope you can answer !![]()

Not sure if we've seen this pic before.

I don't think I like video games anymore.

Shoulda made every mission like the one where Varric does Scarface. THEN I'D STILL LIKE VIDEO GAMES.
Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes
What if every mission in Dragon Age: Inquisition is just exactly like that?

Don't play with my emotions.
Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes
Dude, it's a BioWare game. If we took out the parts that were us screwing with your emotions, what would be left?

Good find! I heard there were a number of variations for this image...
But damn do I hate this new twitter format... ![]()
I know, it's terrible. the 'more' bit stuffs me up every time.
Also, I follow EA games Australia, so when that popped up I was like ooooo. Now I just need a larger version and it can be my new desktop background.
QA don't just manage our game health, they manage our team health too...
'Oh boy, I'll get lots done tonight!' *spends an hour just trying to get tools to work*
Some days you get the bear, some days the bear’s rig has been changed without updating the animations and it’s a horrific mess
Funny because it's true!Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes

Some days you get home knowing you got a whole lot done. These days feel great. Other days you hope you got a lot done, but aren't too sure.
Today I'm making faces.
While holding the baseball bat of decision making +3
Believe it or not, that decision requires a natural 20 to finalize.

GAH! DEMOS CONFIRMED! O_O
You seriously thought there wasn't going to be a demo at E3?
You seriously thought there wasn't going to be a demo at E3?
It can still be exciting when devs confirm something, even if you were sure it would happen on your own. We all knew DA3 was coming, but still got excited when they announced it, no?
