Not too keen on the character outfits. Getting that big bulky Warcraft feel from it.

How on earth do you get that feeling?

Genuinely curious o_o

Yeah, have to agree with the o.O  The outfits didn't make me think of WoW at all.

OP updated with way more of Sebastian's holy junk than it had previously.

Oh man! :o  I hope it's definitely something related to Starkhaven and Sebastian. I want to see him and help him take back Starkhaven.

Right, I now know the second game of 2013 I'm going to get. The Frostbite 2 mention explains the past 18 or so months of work so far. I imagine that the combat is going to be much more fluid than the previous two iterations. I also imagine that some of the choices made in DA:2 are going to effect certain cameos and what not in DA:I. I look forward to working alongside Talis and exploring the world of Thedas.

Oh, and one more thing, if I'm going to be searching for answers may I base my character off of Columbo?

I wouldn't mind him being in a very bad mood either and trying to get him to reason with you or even becoming your enemy.

It'd be interesting to see The Inquisitor meander into the unfinished plot of DA2, particularly if we're approaching things from another perspective, not Hawke's (who presumably would've starred in Exalted March).

The Inquisitor wouldn't necessarily know the specifics of Anders' actions and Sebastian's attachment to the Grand Mother, but the player of DA2 does. The Inquisitor has a completely different stake in any Starkhaven-Kirkwall conflict to what Hawke would think, especially when the DA3 protagonist is an outsider. I'd be fascinated to know how Bioware are adapting the assets and plot elements of the DA2 expansion pack to fit somewhere in DA3.

It's also worth pointing out that the T-shirts Bioware devs were using to hint at Exalted March last year had several Free Marches cities on them, even apart from Starkhaven.

The little hovel in the mountain valley is briliant, looks just like a fairytale, and the valley looks huge
One more reason for me to buy da3

FWIW, this one was already featured in the DA2 strat guide. Apparently with no caption but near a page about crafting.

Huh. Didn't expect to get up close and personal with Sebastian's belt buckle today. I should probably not think too much about that.

Nice concept art. I hope we'll actually be able to travel within the open world instead of fast traveling across the map.

I don't, only because that gives developers "license" to pad games with excruciatingly long and boring "travel time" (see: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. And you HAD a horse in that game)

SIDE NOTE: Keep DA2 style Deep Roads travel (if we go to the Deep Roads). I liked feeling that I was actually in the Deep Roads instead of magical cave portals that branch off from the Deep Roads

I hope they EXPAND the Deep Roads. The Deep Roads in Origins was scary and had atmosphere and what people always seem to forget that they DID NOT have to complete it all at once.

The Deep Roads in DA:2 was a cheap copout.

The DeepRoads in the Legacy was a reasonable compromise and had more depth.

I hope to see him drunk in a tavern with the liquor making his accent more thicker.

And as long as we have the choice of killing him, I can take seeing him.:devil:

Sebastian's belt buckle was intended to depict the visage of Andraste. This means that the picture in question, however similar, might have nothing to do with Starkhaven: the religion is a dominant one in Thedas after all.

Sometimes the face of Andraste is just the face of Andraste and not the symbol of a shameboner.

I liked the Legacy Deep Roads best too.

I think it was because the DA2 art style made it seem more like I was walking on what was an ancient highway that was crumbling instead of magical snakey tunnels. But the main DA2 quest did not capture the fear of the Deep Roads, proably because of the nature of why you were going (coin) and with your cavalier attittude, whereas you *should* be sorta freaked out, since people don't go without a full company (except Wardens)

It wasn't the *symbol* of a shameboner. It was a codpiece to hide the shameboner.

Also, you would think Sebastian could have  a better comeback when Anders is talking about the codpiece:

"Is that supposed to be Andraste's face on your crotch?"
"I didn't realize you were an admirer, Anders..."  (or) "How long have been staring at it?" (or) "I don't think Hawke would appreciate your fascination with my crotch...", I could keep going for hours....

The Frostbacks do form Ferelden's border with Orlais, and both seem to play some role in DA3.

That sounds like a good guess.

It's an Avvar village guys. They wanted to make a human Avvar origon in da:o, but that got scrapped.
