Isn't it obvious?

One of the dungeons is Hawkes weapon cache where the final boss is Hawke, accompanied by their LI if imported. You have to defeat them both in bloody gory combat before opening the giant vault containing all the weapons ever made for Hawke, including DLC items.

Duh.

Why do we have to keep waiting to hear about Cullen? I appreciate new comp info but no one will even tell us if he is one

We have a communication strategy mapped out from now till launch, so that's why no one is skipping ahead in the story.

Yeah, I'm ambivalent towards Cullen myself... but we know he's going to have a more significant role this time around. So, we'll see,,,

 

But I definitely want to see more of the new companions before before revisiting characters we already know...

I think I'm in the minority, but I've never liked Cullen, and would be ok if he wasn't in this game, or died right off the bat.

With all due respect we don't know much about Cullen to form valid opinions about him yet. You're entitled to dislike him like many people here adore him, but to actually hate him and wish him to die is a little intense dont you think?

He's already in the game. Best make your peace with it and approach him in DAI with a fresh perspective. If you still dislike him then, I'm sure your reasons could potentially be sensible.

I don't hate him, and I don't wish him to die.  I said I'd be ok with it if he did die right off the bat, it wouldn't bother me one way or the other.

they don't hate him, but if there's enough information to (as you apparently think there is) adore him, then the reverse is true as well. Hatred and death wishing are just as reasonable as fangirl/boy LI requests and other such things. Personally I want to see Cullen, simply to see if he has developed to the point where he can personality his way out of a wet paper bag.

This is what I intend to do...given my feelings on him are rather complicated.
