I prefer to wait and find out who they are before making any such decisions, but then I never met a character in the previous games I didn't at least find interesting. They're always interesting, even if you don't end up liking them much. But then, I liked them all.

Not favourites, but one of the most adequate companions. No too much drama, but enough action
I doubt the three advisors are going to see as much of a marketing push as the actual combat companions.
It's potentially confusing, too - how are they supposed to explain that she's not a companion in a single image?
There'd be media sites and other fans assuming that those characters are members of the party, which is surely not something Bioware wants to suggest at this point.

Yeah, she is literally the first Bioware major character I disliked (As far as often-hated characters go, I loved Isabela, had a Morrigan romancing warden as one of my two mains and thought that Anora using the warden during the Landsmeet was absolutely justified and great)
I have little to no idea why, really. The concept is interesting enough, the voice acting, while worse then Bioware average was ok. Maybe she wasn’t developed enough (dlc one adventure character), maybe she wasn’t real enough (little to no flaws visible), I don’t know.

Sebastian wasn't awful but he didn't have as big a part as the 'main' companions. When he wasn't being condescending he was naive and otherwise harmless. I guess he didn't make that much of an impact though, beyond getting really (and understandably) stroppy over Anders' big ba-da-boom.
I never played Mark Of The Assassin, so all I know of Tallis is the Redemption series. She seems kind of amusing in a classic maverick rogue kind of way. I imagine my snarky mage Galen Hawke could've gotten on well with her, but I gather she isn't widely liked.

A lot of the power players in DAI are gonna be women. The Divine, Fiona, Celene, Morrigan, Flemeth (I'm assuming), Briala.

Faction leaders wasn't that bad. We are talking about companions. Playable party characters. I'm not sure it's confirmed but 6vs3 is really way flung off the chart. It wouldn't that bad if it's 5v4. Honestly i'm really disappointed on this. Anyway how is it not on topic? Is it i have to talk about Blackwall to be on topic?
In regards to Blackwall, my first impression was he looks great. So he is 2Hander i assume? I can't imagine his personality though. It would be neat that Bioware could release a teaser of each and every character voice? So we may have some imaginations on their personalities.

They are all interesting in their own way. If they are what I think they are, I'm pretty sure I will love them all, as in the case of Origins' companionsOn a side note, to me, Tallis and Sebastian, are quite possibly the worst companions BioWare came up with. I hated Anders with a burning passion, but at least that crazy mofo has character, those 2 are just plain colorless and boring. Tallis is a typical Mary Sue, flawless in the boring, shallow, fan fiction kind of way. Giving her a whole dlc is pretty much just an advertising move, using Felicia Day's popularity. Seb is just a stick in the mud, who can't do anything but preach (revenge his family? Nope. Reclaim his city? Nope. Avenge his "oh I will protect you with my life" Elthina? Nope. WTF are you even doing here?). All he did was talk and talk and talk, and be the "prince charming" for the ladies to swoon over (seriously????). If you paid $7 to get him, I'm so sorry for your loss.Sure hope they will come up with better characters than those 2 in future games._________________________________________________________________________________________________________
So interesting how different characters appeal or dont appeal to different players. I am neutral to Tallis and Sebastian personally, but other companions annoyed me - like Ohgren for example. Hardly ever has him join my party!
