I'd prefer it were a bit more evenly-stated, but them's the breaks. Business sucks and is stupid, but it also pays the rent.

I remember when I was a lad that developer's weren't afraid to say "Hey, here's a whole bunch of characters. If you don't recognize a single one, this isn't your game yet."
I hate to say it, but those developers are probably out of business now.

Why not encourage people to buy the previous games so they could enjoy ME3 even more? Then they'd get even more money, and wouldn't be spouting complete rubbish that obviously isn't true.
I get where you're coming from and I agree completely but you're very clearly talking about that stupid marketing rubbish from ME3. Saying you need to play the previous DA games is like saying you need to play Invisible War to understand Human Revolution, ok that's not the best comparison but I'm sticking with it.

I've played all the games but never read the books. Unless there is a lot of explanation going on in the game, then it's a half truth at best.

Well, this is their biggest game in years, so I'm not surprised that they are pulling out all the stops to market this game.

Last throw of the dice for DA I reckon. If the sales drop by the same % as they did from DA:O game over.

You can't go wrong in hyping. Look at Watch Dog. This is how the industry going to die sooner or later. 75% cost of investment in games goes to marketing and sales. 25% goes to game development.
Result? Failgame

I'm enjoying Watch Dogs. Not as much as I did Sleeping Dogs, but it's a good first installment to build on.
Destiny is the one to watch 15 million just to break even is pretty nuts.

I don’t fly to LA until tomorrow. To everyone arriving before me: try to leave a bit of coffee in the city. I’ll need it.

Do you have to be there for the EA press conference or just for panels? Don't want you to be late ![]()
I’m on demo duty, so my work starts Tuesday AM.

Shouldn't there be a demo on Monday as well, on Gametrailers?
He has it listed right after the EA Press Conference.

Since people are still going on about DA2 not being the perfection they expected and still talking about ME3's endings, it looks like Bioware wants to prove to them that they've changed by showing off DAI. Which sounds great to me. Lots of demonstrations and interviews show that they have nothing to hide and that they feel confident in their new product.

I guess this means Aaryn or Mike Darrah will be the ones presenting whatever is shown on Monday at EA's press conference and the GameTrailers thing.
The demos from Tuesday onwards probably mean... playable demos for E3 attendees on the showfloor?

The Game Trailers thing on Monday might be just an interview with Aaryn Flynn or Mark Darrah.
Or what EP said.
