The All Access event is after EA's conference at 1-2pm PT /4-5 pm ET anyway, so it might be that they're just giving more specific timing for the DA:I part of the event. 

 

As in, that fits into the Game Trailers thing on Monday that we already know about.

 

Also, they got the publisher wrong

I just checked the GameTrailers website, it's on Monday.

 

On the website that whole hour is broken up into fifteen minute chunks. DA:I is only a small part of that session - they're also talking about Battlefield, Oculus Rift, etc.

In the proper context, I think they meant Destiny as an IP, not just the singular game... But who knows what the frick is going through Kotick's mind?

 

 

AAA development may collapse on itself because of the huge budget bloating, but gaming will survive and maybe even revive itself to AAA again (only to collapse again eventually) through the indie developers. A lot of new Indie stuff have Better-than-AAA concepts or mechanics, but not AAA production values.

 

That said, I think there will always be a few hold-out Triple-A developers. Rockstar and Bethesda for example, have created a lot of clout with single, quite literally Self-Sufficient massive IPs. As long as they keep delivering within the same median of quality I don't see their financial futures in peril

 

On Topic: Need Moar Dorian reveal today. I'm rocking a Dorian mustache in support of it.

EA overlord Peter Moore seems to be posting game-related stuff, he just tweeted an image of Mirror's Edge. 

 

Could be one to watch for DA:I too.
