It sounds like there might be two demos though, so Blackwall may very well be shown off at E3 tomorrow.

 

Oh that makes more sense then. I hope they do another two character reveals before then then.

Nope ... It does not say meet ALL the heroes ... Surely one did not expect Bioware to blow their entire wad at E3 ??

 

Yeah seeing Vivienne again is a letdown, but not unexpected.  I would have liked to meet Cole but alas it was not meant to be ...

 

However, E3 is not just for those who already worship DAI.  Bioware does need to pick up a few more converts.

 

Bioware needs to put their best foot forward ... and Vivienne is that foot ... 

 

I wasn't expecting a life story but at least getting introduced to everyone, confirmation of all names would've been nice.

I'll be honest and say I find Vivienne to be the least likable companion so far, I could end up loving her once I play the game though.

Because Vivienne had the month of March devoted to her reveal while Solas hasn't been officially revealed at all?

 

Viv seems like a great character, but we know quite a bit about her already compared to Solas, ''Cole" and "Dorian."

Because Vivienne was shown in the GI coverage, in the PAX demo, and had a whole week dedicated to her.
A lot of the people disappointed are fans of her as well. They just want to see someone new.
Other than the fact that they could've shown DHMG, the fact that Solas is, in your opinion, hideous, doesn't mean he shouldn't be shown.

See that part? It's one of the reasons why seeing Viv today was dissapointing, we already know about her... There is no need to show her again.

I think they just don't want to reveal too many characters, particularly at once.

 

They have enough to cover at E3 as is, I don't see the issue with them focusing on three or four new companions rather than shoving all of them in.

hmm we dont have enough days remaining for bioware to reveal all companions , now that we "meeting" again the ones we already know...I guess cole and DHMG will have to wait longer , I guess hottest ones they revealed first.

The fact that we know the tiniest fashion details about Vivienne while we still have to put quotation marks around the names of two companions tells me that it's time to spread the love around a little more.

 

Don't get me wrong. If media overexposure doesn't cause me to burn out on Vivienne before the game is actually released, I have a feeling that I'm going to become quite fond of her. But I'd like to hear more about the rest of the team before we rehash known quantities for the 8th time.

The only one I've really taken to is Blackwall, and that's mostly because he's Duncan 2.0. The others are kind of generic and obvious.Quite possible I would feel the same way about Blackwall, had I not played DA:O. But I really liked his reveal picture right away.

 

This is really the last day they had to manage the message before E3 and leak city. They pretty much blew it.

Unless all of you did not notice their main focus seem to be on new characters, and not old ones. We know a lot less about Vivienne than Varric, or Cassandra or Cullen or Leliana. Complaining about knowing more about a new character is ridiculous. For example I dislike Sera but I am glad people are getting information about her, I wanted to know more about other characters but I am not going on a rant about wanting to kill her or something, that is ****** sick.

Plus I love the mental image of bioware headquarters having this conversation "Man all the fans are going to be so happy on Monday with this new information." "Yeah, a little TOO happy. Lets make sure to troll 'em on sunday to kick 'em before we prop them up"

The male elf who is a fade expert but that is all we know. And I suspect that her opinion reveals far more about her own character than Solas'.

Which is ridiculous because she was great and everyone has different taste in characters and it shouldn't be so hard for people to accept that just because they are not fond of a character that doesn't mean they should be down on others being interested in them.

Boring character? We don't know anything about Solas other than he's a Fade expert and you want to judge this character? Wow...are you really that shallow and quick to judge? And yes he's got a fanbase just like the others and there is nothing wrong with that!
